The team that won was from McKinney High, the same school as the Texas cheerleader scandal...

Tuck your chin in and keep your hands up. Even if you are pretending to want to fight, the other person may very well be interested in doing the thing for real.

was reading about Griffey getting the highest percentage of votes to the HOF and saw this
When he was 27 in 1991, Mark McGwire hit 22 home runs. When he was 35, he hit 65. Barry Bonds went deep 25 times as a 26-year-old. At age 36, he went deep 73 times.
When Griffey was 28, he hit 56 homers. A decade later, he hit 18.

Played the game hard. All those injuries playing hard took it's toll. Clean.

That's hilarious. Look at about the 13 second mark, a guy from the green team is chasing a guy from the other team across first base as he flees, while in the bottom of the screen another green team guy just wails on a guy, who falls down, then gets up and offers the lamest punch in retaliation I've ever seen. Embarrassing for the non-green team guys, they got destroyed...

I like the guy running away over first base throwing a little punch as he runs. Eventually, the Green guy gives up. No use fighting a guy that doesn't want to run. Either a coward, or a strategic retreat is based on who you support

" I was actually happy to see the Hit King get defensive. I kind of felt I was accepted. I heard that about five years ago Pete Rose did an interview, and he said that he wished that I could break that record. Obviously, this time around it was a different vibe. In the 16 years that I have been here, what I’ve noticed is that in America, when people feel like a person is below them, not just in numbers but in general, they will kind of talk you up. But then when you get up to the same level or maybe even higher, they get in attack mode; they are maybe not as supportive. I kind of felt that this time."
