I hope Benjamin Franklin (Alias: Wanda) straps on the barbed wire dildo and shoved it up Roy’s ass to his esophagus.

I have had a shit day between dealing with the work backlog brought about by me having covid, still being exhausted from covid, my 3 year old having covid, finding out that woman who gave birth to me is selling my father’s family home, and dealing with watching this game, and now I have that jammed into my brain. Good grief what an image….lmao

aTm wrote: Thu Mar 09, 2023 10:33 am I look forward to hearing some old committee fuck on selection sunday telling the country all about how even though UNC didnt win the ACC, the tournament still showed how worthy they are of inclusion when last year another old fuck pretty much said that A&M's conference tournament wins over top 5 and top 15 teams hadn't happened at all and that the conference tournaments only mattered if you won them.
I'll LMAO is we make it to the tourny now (not gonna happen, but I'd love to watch aTm's head explode)..

Feel better soon, Heel Brother. From reading your posts over the years, I know how much you loved your Dad. All respect to you. I lost my Dad four years ago and it never gets any easier. He was my best friend.

I hope you cherish your memories of his Family home. No one can take those away from you. Sadly, all we have left of Carolina Basketball are our memories, too.

No fun selling the family home but the cash is exceptional.

Except that horrible person who gave birth to me will just give it to her leech of a husband, that piece of shit married to CC and the bastard child she popped out in high school that only comes around when she wants a hand out.

The sad thing is that it was my dad’s family home. It was purchased by my great grandfather and handed down. Those other pieces of shit have no connection to my dad, but I deserve it for being naive and doing the right thing by trusting her word that she would never do such a thing and having it put in her name entirely instead of having my name on it. I did it so she could have a HELOC to access for immediate cash in event of a major emergency when she couldn’t wait for investments to get pulled out, paperwork / tax issues resolved, etc, and when she had a falling out with my wife and me for no reason other than my sorry ass half sister is jealous of me, she took the chance to shaft me.

It could be a hell of a lot worse though. I’ll never forget the despair and overwhelming since of loss and emptiness that came after losing dad in 2017 and thereafter when we couldn’t have a child and were told we would never have a child, but then three years ago I became a dad. I’m still in shock to be honest. So, things could be a hell of a lot worse.

Hang in there. It gets better over time. Don't let it eat you up. They won't.

Is UNC really the 1st #1 preseason pick to entirely miss the dance? Oh my.

I thought I heard one of the announcers last night say that NCState was preseason #1 in 1975 and missed the tourny, but that doesn't really count as I think you still had to win your conference tourny back then to even get to the NCAA tourny. Irregardless, it's a shameful turn of events...

I think a lot of people got way ahead of themselves on how good this UNC team was going to be. They didn't remember some of the truly shitty basketball we were playing for most of last year and only focused on the magical late season run we went on, a run that included several games that we could've and perhaps should've easily lost. But yet and still, I didn't foresee this level of disaster...

I could. However, that would be stupid because I would tie myself down and limit / prevent some things my wife and I plan to do in the next 5-7 years, and as much as this would pain my father, grandfather and great grandfather, they would come down from heaven and stick their foots up my ass all at once if I let sentimentality control over sound financial decision making.

1975 was the first time a conference could send two teams.

The ACC sent Maryland (regular season winner) and Carolina. Carolina beat State in the ACC tournament final to lock up the other spot, and State declined the NIT bid.

Now that the NCAA owns the NIT, I don’t think you can decline a bid. You can decline to host though, iirc.
