Here's a pic of AJ McCarron's younger brother catching his first pass from AJ in a college game:

And here is a pic of Saban scolding the young McCarron for only getting 3 yards after the catch:

I think Bama will win, but we will acquit ourselves well.

I don't know who will win. I think Alabama is the better team overall. But, stranger things have happened.

Bama is the best team overall this season (with the possible exception of special teams I hear).

That's one thing about this rivalry... the best team USUALLY wins.

Our running game is excellent but Bama's front 7 has the speed and skill to contain it. We'll get some nice runs due to the deception inherent in Malzahn's scheme, but long sustained drives will be hard to come by.

We don't pass much, but when we have passed successfully, it's usually because secondaries had to pay a lot of attention to run support. That means our modestly talented receivers were frequently wide open. Bama's secondary won't have to worry much about run support, will play mostly man-to-man, so there will be no wide open Auburn receivers. I'm guessing we'll throw a lot to our TE's, which are talented, but have gotten little attention this year. More deception.

Auburn has a strong and deep front 4, but the LB's are questionable - especially Jake Holland. I think Yeldon, and especially Drake, will get a lot of yards whenever they get to the second level. Our defense will be so focused on stopping the run that McCarron will have plenty of time to throw. That means Bama will have long sustained drives that Auburn won't be able to match.

Bama by 7-14 unless they inexplicably melt down in multiple areas. That kind of lack of focus is rare for Bama, much less the Iron Bowl.

I don't know. I remember thinking how good we were in 2009. We won in the end, but AU had some nice stuff scripted and changed lineman splits and added some stunts we weren't anticipating.

And this Bama team isn't as good as the 2009 version, but the 2013 Auburn team is much better than the 2009 Tigers.

Auburn has a definite slugger's chance. I think Bama wins 8 of 10 if we played a series, but this is a single game in a hostile environ, and an 80% chance, while nice odds, isn't a sure thing.

Normally I disapprove of fornication, but in this case I would contribute to a 5 star hotel suite reserved for AJ McCarron and Katherine Webb the night before the game.
