The Texans and Bengals are likely to have the shittiest ratings so they're the farthest away from the primetime spot. That's just how it is.

I think the Texans will win and it won't be close. They've been mailing it in since they made the playoffs while the Bengals had a must win game and lost

If the Texans had the mental fortitude of the Saints and Colts of the pass (who have tanked the final games of the year when they've had their PO spot sown up), I'd feel as confident. But they've never won anything before and it's hard to tell how they as a team (players and coaches) will handle it.

I remember back in '87 when the Saints finally made the playoffs after 21 seasons. They were on a nine game winning streak and were at home versus the Vikings. The 'Dome was insane and the Saints took and early 7-0 lead. It looked like it was going to be a huge day for NOLA. Vikes ended up winning 44-10.

Not exactly the same thing here but, again, the Texans have never been here before. There's no telling how they handle it.

I also remember 91 (I believe). Playoffs and the saints tanking to the Falcons.

Big kick return. If only the Gators had a consistent passing game.

Having these "New Year's Day" games on Monday, Jan. 2 is clearly having an impact on attendance. Lots of empty seats in Dallas and Orlando, and even the game between Florida and Ohio St. in Jax is being played in front of a number of empty seats. My guess is that it's the same in Tampa between Michigan St. and Georgia.

Mark Richt just proved once again why UGA fans are becoming more and more impatient with him. That was such a limp-wristed possesion in OT. The second down play was one of the all-time weakest in sports history.

at least Sparty held it down for the Big 10

Looks like A&M is hiring Kliff Kingsbury as OC. I guess that still leaves us with 33% less "K" than some of our new conference mates...

You know what, it's not so much Wisconsin's lack of speed in stopping the spread, it's their inability to contain the outside gaps on the sweeps. Terrible job. Just terrible. Oregon might still score on these drives, but the Wisconsin DEs and OLBs are absolutely usely reight now.

Of course, the way things are going, Wisconsin'll be in the end zone in about four minutes themselves.

Gators win. Bengals make the playoffs and get a first round win. Good start to 2012.
