Ohio is coming strong on legalization by 2016. I think it's finally gonna happen. At least I hope so. I'm sitting on 100 acres (4 years) ready to go planting. Already have backing from the pro weed crowd. Just need 307K real signitures.

Brewing beer is far more involved with way more that can go wrong than growing weed. Even so, as you say, many won't do it, but I suspect many more people will grow their own weed than brew their own beer...

It is easy, but it's much more time consuming and labor intensive than growing weed. All the sterilization, prep time and bottling time, and even then it's a crap shoot if you'll turn out something palatable or not way over-carbonated (etc). With weed, you just sprout a seed, put it in the growing medium and let the timers do the rest. Or you could just plant a couple of seeds in the backyard and forget about them and 4 months later you have a couple of pounds of product. But like you said, even that minimal effort will be too much for lots of folks...

I plan to smoke something that has greater than 20% THC from The Farm. According to my friend, most pot was, at most, 5% THC in the 70's. I plan to get wasted. And, yes, the lecture is in the morning.

Beer costs $5 a 6-pack. Weed costs about $100 1/4 oz. I can see why no one wants to brew beer. And having done both (or at least helped my college roommate brew beer), it's a lot more work than growing weed outside the tedious snipping of buds at harvest time.

5$ a sixer? WTF kind of Beer are you drinking?
I'm much more interested in paying someone $100 for a half ounce of high potency weed because it's not something I'll do much. Growing shit isn't my thing.

I don't want to give his name on here but he was here at one time, been living in Chicago the last 5 years at least and it moving to Columbus.
I just don't know what his name was on here. His initials are N.H.
