The Gamecocks hung tough with the Aggies on their home court but ultimately fell to a scrappy 94-53 defeat. Just left a little too much on the table vs the Cats

Whoa now, UNC just snagged the #2 guy in the class of 2024, Ian Jackson. Not really shocking that UNC could snag a high 5-star guy, but until his official visit last weekend, he was considered a lock for UK. Nobody thought UNC had a chance with this guy and the visit was considered (even by the insiders at IC) just a courtesy. Getting blown out by 20 by a 20 point underdog (South Carolina) and losing in the first round of the tourny to a 15-seed is one thing, but when you start fucking with UK's recruiting titles (their ultimate goal in life), UK fans are going to start getting salty. Go Heels!!!

not saying Davis and UNC didn't do a good job recruiting him but they have the playing time, so that always helps

Jackson insists in every interview that he’s not reclassifying to 2023. I hope he changes his mind!

He'll be 18 next month, so he's very old for his class. He'd probably still be older than some legitimate 2023 recruits if he reclassified. Hell, Brad Daugherty was 16 when he arrived at UNC, turned 17 in October and still averaged 8 points/5 rebounds his freshman year...
