Dumbass Greg Reid - glad Jimbo booted him but will miss his talent.

looks like the only injury from Murray State was Jernigan got a foot stomped on and sat out from mid 2nd quarter on...no big problems on D and the freshmen who rotated in performed well...
O line looks to be better than last year but no real test for them until Clemson...Wilder looks good carrying the ball...wonder what the over/under is on him getting through a season without some kind of off field problem...EJ's performance was workmanship...no real miscues...the only int was a bobble ball by Shaw that went into a D backs grasp
Savannah State should be another scrimmage...hope there are a lot of 3rd teamers getting experience and no injuries

I didn't see the game but the lack of injuries is the nice part. At least we looked better than the Gators.

Ugh - sucks to lose Jenkins for the season. He's been a model student-athlete and turned down NFL money to come back for his senior year. We have great depth at DL but it's still a blow.

my bad...I meant Jenkins, not Jernigan...sucks for Jenkins...I understand the injury is the type that he cannot place any weight on the foot for 3 maybe 4 months

Yeah that sux - went from miss a practice or 2 to done for whole season.
Him and Reid coming back for senior years didnt exactly work out for them or the team

fwiw - if we beat WF at least 35-14 and get playing time for Trickett and Coker in the 4th then that is a really good win
28 - 14 and only Trickett gets reps is a good win
28 -17 or 24-14 with Trickett reps is ok
anything less means...gentlemen, we are in trouble....

Well we're favored by 4 TDs...the last time we were favored that much in an ACC game was Duke a couple of years ago. If we don't win by at least 3 TDs it will be a failure in the eyes of the uneducated but I'd be happy with a 1 point victory the way things have gone against Wake lately. But the reality is, if we are going to compete for an ACC title/MNC, this should be an easy game.

Wake isn't horrible and with Grobe's cycle, this should be a good year for them. But they're thin in some areas, only have one proven WR, and are missing probably their best player on defense (NG) - his replacement is a true freshman. They have 4 new OL and we have a Top 5 DL. They'll try to catch us guessing with misdirections and zone reads like they always do, but if we play remotely disciplined football they shouldn't move the ball.
Hopefully we can stay far enough ahead of them to overcome the ACC refs -

heh, wake is good, ..twelve reasons they suck... but yeah, they're good, I hope we can stay within 50.

There have been rapes less brutal than that first half.

that turned out much better than I expected - Chris Thompson had an unbelievable 1st half and the D looked really good... a lot of fans were walking out after the game wondering if the noles are really that good or if the bubble will burst against Clemson next week...we just may be that good
