I know some doctors around town who think all chiropracty is complete bunk, but I'm not so sure. I've been to chiropractors a few times, they never did anything for me, but I feel sure they help some people...

Agreed. Never met a chiropractor who didn't think he could cure you of anything. I put them in the same category as witch doctors.

every chiropractor finds something on xray that has to be adjusted.
even if you don't have any pain
wifes back has been toast for years ever since I push......... ever since she fell down some stairs. epidurals x 3, physical therpay chirparctor, all failed--pilates and deep massage has worked wonders however
weight loss and core strengthening for you bad backs out there

20 years ago, they said they could cure colic in babies if they had a subluxation. A bunch of studies of the diagnosis showed they found a alleged subluxation over 90% of the time. Manipulate the baby spine and he'd stop crying (for a short time)

Ha. Next you'll be telling me that the magnet fabric thingy that my cousin's chiropractor ex-boyfriend gives out to be carried in your pocket doesn't really do anything.

If I had chronic back pain, I'd go to a chiropractor for symptomatic relief. For anything else? Doubtful

Listen, the chiropractor I trust and know personally will tell you those chiros who claim they can cure everything are full of shit. However, he has helped me quite a bit with some back/nerve pain down my left arm and right leg. There are a lot of quacks out there, but I think there is some value to the legitimate ones who only deal with spinal stuff.
