I'm glad you are happy McElroy worked out well for 'bama. When you all pay them as much as you do down there, you should get your money's worth.

Re: Tennessee Volunteers
I must agree I do care more about what the players do on the collegiate level. To be honest, I really don't care for the NFL all that much. Outside of two or three players (most notably Peyton), I'm not paying much attention to our former players or any of them for that matter.
I just found it suprising the A-train did so bad in college (yeah, I'm aware of his record, it was a fluke...) and was suprisingly picked up in the draft to go on to a season in the NFL where he's starting to look like he's been there all along and is one of the rushing greats.
I guess Fulmer didn't let him develope himself enough....

More than anything, I would say that the success of guys like Foster and Jerrod Mayo is an indictment of Fulmer and his staff.Orangefreak wrote:I must agree I do care more about what the players do on the collegiate level. And Hack, don't try indicting Fulmer on the basis of Foster and Mayo... He can't help it if those boys didn't develop themselves like they should have.

Looks like the drug suspicions surrounding Aaron Douglas' death turned out to be well-founded...

It's sad that AD didn't get his head on straight...From all reports, he was a decent young man, with some problems. One would think with all the assistance offered to young people by the universities one wouldn't fall through to the point they lose their life without intervention and help.
Where have you heard that Kiffen ran off scholorship players?</sarcasm>Hacksaw wrote:He used to be a Vol.

Dennis Dodd proves, once again, that he is a tremendous gigantical dipshit...

Dooley on the hot seat? I don't think I know of any Vol fans who would agree.

Re: Tennessee Volunteers
That is wild. He's got at least two more season's before he's in any trouble at all. Unless the NCAA comes in, strips us of all our scholies and puts us on probation for a season or two ala USC. If that happens, who knows what will happen.
He may bolt for GA when they get rid of Richt, not that I would blame him if the NCAA comes a knockin...

Hey, I hear Dooley is on the hotseat. Can anyone confirm or deny?
