Romney held a fund-raising event today. He wanted to raise $2 to $3 mil. He raised $10.25 million today.

Romney's got it. He's had the GOP nomination for President since November 8th of 2008.

I don't think The Donald was ever all that serious about it anyway. He came out of the gate like a guy who would never development the disposition to make himself look presidential enough to run an effective campaign. There's plenty to disagree with Obama on, plenty to criticize him for and a number of issues on which you could and should challenge him. But if you come across looking like some dude at the casino ranting and raving to the pit boss about your political views, even the crazy ass voters in the country aren't going to vote out an incumbent president, even if he's a half-Colored muslim who supports terrorism and ain't even a natural-born American.

Romney's problem has never been money. His problem has been, and will continue to be, South Carolina, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, West Virginia and (probably) Tennessee.
