Yeah Rickart is right. It couldn't be the fact that he played 18 seasons, won 2 SBs including the most recent, and wanting to go out on top to be the reason he retired.

Nope. He wanted to get cut so he could play one more season for the Rams but apparently they had no interest so he just hung them up.

Dynamite scoop Rickart. On it like always.

well, we did gloss over the fact his performance has deteriorate to the point no one was willing to offer him a contract.

think about it, when's the last time a Super Bowl champion did NOT want its starting quarterback to return the next season? (Dilfer, maybe?)

Don't get me wrong. He was probably the greatest regular season QB in history.

There's other ways to define greatness. Haters ought to read this article - at least to appreciate what they're up against.

Well when I think of legendary QBs, Terry Bradshaw has to come to mind along with Joe, Tom, and Farve, right???

heh

Poor TB will never live down that Hollywood Henderson quote about him not being able to spell cat even if you spotted him the "c" and the "a."

Did Henderson say that before, during, or after he got coked out of football?

Congrats to Peyton on a great post-college football career.

wonder how much the suspension had to do with him taking a big base salary cut this year

I forget..how many games does Brady have to sit out?

Nevermind...saw it here 4 games...cardinals, dolphins, texans, bills. Too bad the Texans are a mess; an 0-4 start would be super awesome.

I hope in Game 5 he comes out blows out both knees and then finds out he has brain cancer. Fuck him and anybody that looks like him.

If your daughter lives in Inglewood, being a Rams fan is the worst of her problems.

Don't worry, they will be gone again in less 20 years so it isn't a life long commitment.
