Since minutes played became an official statistic in the 1979-80 season, North Carolina has never had a team with four players who had logged 3,000 minutes in a UNC jersey. By the time March rolls around, Bacot (2,773 career minutes), Love (2,244) and Davis (2,077) are poised to join Black (3,203) in the 3,000-minute club. Factoring in Pete Nance’s 2,588 minutes at Northwestern, it is possible that Carolina’s entire starting 5 will have 3,000 or more high-major minutes by the time the NCAA Tournament tips off. One could make a compelling case that this is (or soon will be) the most-experienced Tar Heel starting lineup of all time.

I wonder when was the last time a UK squad had one player with 3000 minutes, and who was it? Tayshun Prince?

What’s Cal’s buyout? I just can’t see him waking away cheaply.

And doesn’t he have perhaps his best recruiting class ever coming next year?

Cal has the best recruiting class he's ever had coming in next year, and at the end of that season , his contract lets him become an "amabassador" for the college at $1m a year for the rest of his life or as long as he wants the gig.
so the writing on the wall is ride DeJaun Wagner into fixed income retirement in 2024

Heh, they've been saying that pretty much every year he's been there. Nobody's done less with more than Cal...

Arkansas looks more like Kentucky than Kentucky does these days. Maybe Musselman is the next Sutton.
