The MIF's youngest daughter's fiance's sister also lives in Portland, she reports the same thing as Stu's coworker's brother and sis-in-law...

It doesn't fit eCat's narrative that the entire city is uninhabitable, with violent mobs roaming every square inch of the city...

Your belief is not necessary for it to be a fact.

And exactly no one will be surprised if this is true. In fact, this seems like the most believable scenario possible:
Trump campaign accused of masking $170 million in spending
(heh, "masking." More like outright stealing. Guy is just a straight up grifter)

My nephew and triplet kids live in Portland. His wife is a sociology professor at Portland State. Yes, they are quite aware of the violence going on there and take precautions. They live on the northeast section of Portland about 30 minutes away from the riots. And on the political side, they're extremely liberal, as you would guess, and big Obummer and Hillary fans ( yes, every family has some nuts they can claim ).

I didn't realize anybody had even asked if Trump had suffered from mini-strokes. Goddamn, talk about the Streisand Effect in action...

I'm rooting for Trump. Four more years of his shit and most of y'all will be as poor as me. I thrive on the misery of others

It goes up because your dollars are becoming worth less and less

To some extent, yes. The low interest rates are causing flight from owning dollars. The biggest reason the market is overpriced is because there are more investors participating than in the past because it’s easier and the young are picking the tech stocks. The increase in tech stocks are what’s driving this market.

Zoom was up $130 yesterday. That's a big number even for something like Amazon, which is at around $3400 a share now, but Zoom was at around $325 on Monday and closed at $457 yesterday. That's massive. You could've bought some calls on Zoom on Friday and made about 100 times your money back by yesterday. Not 100%, 100 times...

I don't understand the appeal of Zoom , Microsoft Teams and Google Meet offer very similar functionality.
Maybe we pay for Microsoft Teams at work, but I know there is a free version you can download for PC and Phones, I'm not sure what we pay, but we can have live meetings with up to 20K people, camera support for up to 49 people (7x7) and file storage up to 100Gb per file (which may be installation dependent) plus it integrates cleanly with Outlook.

When a few hundred Nazis rioted in Charlottesville, the very soul of the country was at stake. When far leftists are behind mass unrest across the nation for months, causing billions in damage and destroying thousands of lives — most of them in minority communities — it’s still Republicans who are at fault.
