its amazing they can't do anything without a phone. Their actions are driven by the potential of internet likes and monetized videos.

yea, but its surpassed me

I'm at the beginning stages of my kids having to help me, while resisting the urge to complain to them about it

I think she would've been way more upset if he had slapped her phone out of her hand and stomped on it than if he had punched her in the face...

Yep, just like the sorcerer's apprentice, you knew how to get the genii out of the bottle, but you don't know how to get him back in...

and the Navy Seal didn't want to play big man going to war?

I thought these guys lived for that sort of thing and understood the risks

I understand a father lashing out, but Seals, Delta, Green Berets - they signed up to be the tip of the spear

I haven't watched a minute of the DNC, RNC, professional sports, Fox , CNN, MSNBC or read many online articles from media.

Instead from 8:30ish to 10:30ish each night I watch a movie from Hulu. Not sure why but Hulu has this collection of action/thriller movies that I have never heard of and are mostly watchable.

Last night was a movie called Lucky Day where Crispen Glover was a hit man for a European Mafia family, who pretended to be French with a Pepe LePew accent. Every time he was on the screen he killed someone within 30 seconds. His target's wife was an artist who had an art gallery showing, where her critics were ravaging her art, he showed up, shot them all in the head and their blood splattered on the painting giving them a Jackson Pollock look and making them must have art pieces when in the end set her and the intended target up for life after Glover detonated himself with hand grenades leaving only his smoking shoes in place.

The night before I watched a movie with Sylvester Stallone and Matthew Modine, where Modine gets amnesia and forgets where he stashed $20m from a bank robbery. Shooter McGavin plays the crooked FBI agent who sets him up. This movie depressed me because Modine is 7 years older than me and he looks 75 years old. Private Joker has not aged well.

The night before that was some kind of zombie movie called Daylight Ends where the robot from Aliens, Lance Henrikson, is now a retired detective holed up in a jail with other survivors trying to make their way to a plane. The zombies are organized by a smarter zombie who teaches them to cut wires for surveillance cameras and stack cars up to block exits. The hero , not the alien guy, drives an old dodge charger covered in metal mesh, wears a sleeveless leather vest to expose his arms to zombie bites and has flashbacks constantly to his now dead model wife sleeping on sheets with a Cybil Shepherd filter . Its Walking Dead Meets Mad Max on a $100 budget.

Tonight I think I'll go with a kill Nazi's suicide mission movie.

Looking at all the footage of people, including elderly folk, leaving the White House, calmly walking to their hotels while being harassed by the mob. They all knew this would happen so why not have more shuttles to deliver them? Either this happens so much in DC now that they are used to it, or they know it makes a good photo op for the republican cause.

The video ATM posted with that girl acting all unhinged on the quiet couple is Republican gold.

"where the robot from Aliens, Lance Henrikson, is now a retired detective holed up in a jail with other survivors trying to make their way to a plane."

Wait, the actor or the actual character? I'm guessing you're referring to the actor, but from the description of the movie, it could be the character from Alien..

You should see if you can find Dirty Mary/Crazy Larry somewhere on that fancy setup of yourn, see if it still holds up. My favorite line from that movie was when the girl either slapped Larry's (Peter Fonda) leg while he was driving or else bit his neck and it caused Larry to lose control of the car and run off the road. When they came to a stop, Larry said "If you ever do that again, I'm gonna braid your tits." That line delighted me as an 8 year old...
