Is there any umpire worse than CB Bucknor. Jesus Christ that dude is awful. 2 nights ago he was at first base, and fucked up 2 calls, both in the Astros favor. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on one, because replay wasn't "conclusive" but on another call he just botched the safe-out call at first and it was overturned on replay. Then last night he was behind the plate, so we got his awful fucking strike zone, and he blew another call on a play at the plate that was overturned on replay. Then to top it off, George Springer had an AB where he struck out after he should have already walked...Im not talking about his shitty blown strike calls either, but he actually called four balls, and the pitcher got the strikeout when the count should have been 4-2.

Amid civil unrest in Baltimore, Wednesday’s game between the White Sox and Orioles at Camden Yards has been moved to a 1:05 p.m. CT/2:05 p.m. ET start and will be closed to the public, the Orioles announced Tuesday. The game had been scheduled for Wednesday night.
The change comes after Monday and Tuesday’s games between the teams were postponed due to safety concerns after rioting broke out near the stadium. The latest round of demonstrations follow the recent death of Freddie Gray, 25, an African-American suspect who had been taken into police custody.
Monday’s protests were within a couple miles of Camden Yards.

OK AA. I admitted you were right about the new suspension rules concerning pitchers getting an automatic 10 games for foreign substances and doctoring balls. No matter what. It was right there in the rule book. Again, I was wrong.
So why did Smith of the Braves get only 8 when that rule is supposed to be rock solid? It was pretty clear his arm was covered in pine tire and Tropicana 30 proof.

After checking on A&Ms baseball game and watching their last inning, I put it on NC State vs TCU for a bit since that's who A&M would be matched up with. I turned it off with NC State up 8-1 in the 8th. I look later and apparently they lost. I looked at the play by play...holy shit this must have been bad...
TCU - Bottom of 8th
J. Olczak pitching for NC State
C. Wanhanen safe at first on error by second baseman R. Willard.
E. Skoug flied out to left.
D Odell safe at first on error by second baseman R. Willard, C. Wanhanen to third.
N. Brown struck out swinging.
K Jones walked, D Odell to second.
G Crain reached on infield single to shortstop, C. Wanhanen scored, D Odell to third, K Jones to second.
T. DeJuneas relieved J. Olczak.
D. Steinhagen walked, D Odell scored, K Jones to third, G Crain to second.
K Jones scored, G Crain to third, D. Steinhagen to second on balk by T. DeJuneas.
C Jones walked.
T. Orwig relieved T. DeJuneas.
J Fagnan singled to left, G Crain and D. Steinhagen scored, C Jones to second, C Jones to third, J Fagnan to second on throwing error by left fielder J. McLain.
T. DeJuneas in left field.
C Jones scored, J Fagnan to third on passed ball by A. Knizner.
E. Barzilli walked.
E. Barzilli stole second.
E. Skoug flied out to right.
6 Runs, 2 Hits, 3 Errors, NC State 8, TCU 7
TCU - Bottom of 9th
T Orwig pitching for NC State
D Odell singled to left.
N. Brown sacrificed to third, D Odell to second.
D Odell to third on balk by T. Orwig.
K Jones struck out swinging, K Jones safe at first on passed ball by A. Knizner, D Odell scored.
C Britt relieved T. Orwig.
G Crain flied out to center.
K Jones caught stealing second, catcher to shortstop.
1 Run, 1 Hit, 0 Errors, NC State 8, TCU 8
TCU - Bottom of 10th
C Britt pitching for NC State
E. Williams singled to center.
E. Williams safe at second on throwing error by pitcher C Britt.
C Jones walked.
J Fagnan sacrificed to pitcher, E. Williams to third, C Jones to second.
E. Barzilli singled to right, E. Williams scored, C Jones to third.
1 Runs, 2 Hits, 1 Errors, TCU 9, NC State 8 FINAL
So they scored 8 runs on 4 hits, 5 walks, 4 errors including a botched pickoff throw, 2 passed balls, and 2 balks. Brutal.

In Pit/SF game, guy with a Barry Bonds Pirate jersey on interferes on a foul ball hit by SF player and the refs review and call the batter out. Doesn't seem right.
