A simple, "Hey, AA. Mea culpa. I was wrong. Again." would have sufficed.

This is real football right here. Makes me kinda embarrassed for what I watch in Chapel Hill a few times a year. Or really, for that matter, what I watch on TV most of the time...

U*NC is the cleanest most honest athletic program on the planet. I am jealous of their deserved success, and I'm a mewling cunt.

I expect Metzenburger(sp?) will give us fits. I think we should win, though, unless McCarron has an awful night. If he plays competently, Bama 31, LSU 21 because I think our D and special teams are a bit better, and our O is as good. Plus, we're at home.

I predicted 10. 21 is very nice.

Have won 26 of the last 27 games and 70-7 since the start of 2008.

Damn good game to watch. Compared to that game out west Thursday, predictions of the SEC's demise are grossly premature. FSwho or the Bucknuts will have a chance - but just that.

Every fucking year, it's like Bama has some super stud first round draft pick running back, but yet somehow the second running back is almost as impressive. So when the stud enters the draft, nobody is worried about Bama's rushing production taking hit, b/c the second guy has already shown himself to be a monster. But then, when it's his turn to be the stud, here comes another "second" back who seems nearly as good, a guy who would be the absolute showcase guy on any other team in the nation. And he's the second guy on Bama. And it is happens every fucking year. Every fucking year. At least since Saban has been there. Goddamn...

Yeah, that's part of Saban's "process" - have a premiere 1a and a 1b back every year.

Bama's top two runners from memory under Saban (might be off on one of them):

2007: Terry Grant and Glen Coffee
2008: Glen Coffee and Mark Ingram
2009: Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson
2010: Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson
2011: Trent Richardson and Eddie Lacy
2012: Eddie Lacy and TJ Yeldon
2013: TJ Yeldon and Kenyan Drake

Of course all of those guys (from 2012 and before) went to the NFL except Shula signee, Terry Grant. Honestly, he would have, but battled too many injuries.

You're forgetting that Bama sometimes has injuries at RB. Dee Hart was a huge recruit but sadly blew out his knee and has not been a factor at RB. I think there was another in that same situation (Fowler?) But the beat beat goes anyway.

Other than Dee Hart before he ever really played I can't think of a long-term or serious injury. Eddie Lacy battled a toe for a while, but nothing huge. We have backups. Glad to see Dee playing some now.

In the end, the O-line makes or breaks a RB.

I think it was Fowler.

Fowler. Yes, glad to see him back, too. I don't even really consider him a RB, though. He is more a FB in this system, and only brought in with certain packages.

Good luck against FSU in the BCSNCG. You won't really need it. They'll be about as challenging as ND was last year.

I agree - we should lobby the trustees to turn down the invite. We have no chance.

I hear they have huge food spreads though at those types of games.
