My trainer's (ex-MMA fighter) ex-girlfriend texted me this morning with a bunch of pictures from some bikini competition she was in last weekend. She placed Top 5, so good for her. However, the pics she sent me just moved our relationship (which was just working out together from time to time or hanging out with all of our mutual friends from time to time) to an awkward space. They were bikini shots, some full on posing backstage, some with her goofing around rubbing the ass of another competitor, some with her on stage. The bikini was barely there and she has big after-market breastages popping out all over it. She is definitely a looker. Half Italian, half Dominican. Not much of a thinker, but a sweet girl. So maybe she just wasn't realizing how inappropriate those pics would seem considering I'm married...and her ex-boyfriend, my current trainer, is a killing machine. No wins come to me from any outcome.

No way I'm even replying to the text pics. I'm just gonna pretend I never saw them.

I'm hoping I catch the flu this winter. That's a guaranteed 8 pounds and a great kick starter for a diet.

Nothing like laying around in a recliner for 3 days alternating between sweating and shivering to get you back in those jeans that are stuck way, way back in the closet.

I think get a whole different mindset about that sort of thing once they get up in front of 500 people with just a patch covering their vag

Brook, share the wealth!

I go from 170 in the summer to 195 in the heart of winter every year. My metabolism is just that way.

I would love to, but

#1 I' am not posting pics on the internet of this chick where it could possibly be linked back to me,
#2 Her ex is shorter and lighter than me, but I am not a fighter...I just like to look like I can be one and
#3 the pics were deleted before my wife could ever stumble on them and make my relatively calm life turbulent.

I think it's amusing as hell that everyone imagines some kind of movie Team America: World Health Police that exists at the CDC in Atlanta that runs and jumps in their supersuits and puts together teams of scientists in labs and field doctors and nurses with spacsuits and enforces quarantines with almost military force when in reality its some guy with a pocket protector who probably pee's his pants when thinking of Ebola who sits around at a desk waiting to answer a question if the local Dallas County health idiots actually think of a question to ask.

They are policy makers, for the most part. They have a stats division and a lab, but policy is what they really do.
