Carolina / Duke is always important to the fans, being K's final home game obviously ramped it up considerably. Given that, and considering our trajectory the past few years, this is probably as big of a regular season win as we've had in a long time, maybe ever. I really don't see Duke as a really great team this year, but they're very good, certainly FF capable, so it's not like beating them while they're down. We really needed this win way more than they did. Glad we got it..

I predict Duke has 2 more years of relevance, then the NIL is going to chew them up.

No one gives a fuck about Duke without Coach K and they're going to have a few years of 1 or 2 guys they go all in on with a supporting cast of guys of role players and portal transfers. They'll end up recruiting a kid that will be arrested for domestic violence or brandishing a gun and then its over.

By 2027 they are Indiana with only the UNC rivalry keeping them on the front page.

I'd love for basketball to be back like it was during the Laettner Hurley days

not that I cared for them but I lived and breathed basketball back then

now I dvr the games and watch them on 2X speed without sound
