he just has a core level understanding of ultimately why all men get tased - and pointed to the source

seriously, while I laugh about this - this is exactly why I can't stand cops with tasers.
whether they believe it or not, cops do not have the final say in commanding the public to obey their directions.
was this man a threat to the policeman? clearly he understood the cops authority and was willing to have a conversation with him about it.

Don't laugh until you've been tased. It's not a happy time unless you are my ex wife.

For some reason I'm thinking the experience of being tazed would tend to suppress, rather than provoke, laughter at the sight of someone else being tazed...

It's a New Yorker cartoon. It's not supposed to make sense.

Now, now. That's a harsh assessment, even from you...

I was thinking it was something sexual, but it's from the 1930's, so I doubt they'd go there back then...

Yeah, I gave up trying to understand it after about 30 seconds. The other cartoon about the elevator operator, too, was the same for me. I'm going with Cletus' explanation and moving on.

60 minutes did a story on the New Yorker cartoons.
They intentionally put some cartoons in that the editors don't even understand
