Ironic that with all the effort you put into trying to be funny, this post, ostensibly in earnest, is by far the most hilarious thing you've ever posted in here...

You may not have been around at the time, but Hack used to call himself an “independent moderate” even though he was as Establishment Republican Bush-Cheney conservative as they come. Which was as ridiculous as me calling myself an “independent moderate” now. Adjust your irony detectors accordingly.

BTW, I am a libertarian populist.

Hack, I’m the one holding this place together. AA stops by about once a month to vent his spleen.

I do like to think of myself as moderate, but don't we all?

Speaking of moderates, where is The Talent?

You're right, I'm sure Trump thinks of himself as a moderate as well...

Hack, I’m extremely glad to see you have returned. Please stick around. The Leftist barbarians are always at the gates around here, and we can always use more help fending them off.

Not me. In the current political environment, I now agree with Goldwater that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice.
Speaking of moderates, where is The Talent?
AA found him on some other message board. Talent had become sort of conservative over there.

Consequences of going along w/the religion of AGW....$7/gallon gas. This is what the #proglibcommies want for the US.....hard to find these stories at CNN, NYT, ABC, CBS, NBC....

The protest was lead by the "gilets jaunes" or yellow jackets movement, which brought nearly 300,000 protesters out across France in 2,000 protests over the past week that addressed tensions related to rising fuel prices, a consequence of French President Emmanuel Macron's key environmental policies.

I have always been a big believer in the freedom of religion. Everybody has the right to believe in whatever religion they want, or no religion at all. So if a bunch of people want to believe in the faith-based cult of AGW, that's fine with me. They can drive their Prius's all they want. But when they start trying to make everybody else pay tithes to their religion, in this case $7/gallon gasoline, no way.

So the WH okays the release of the administration's Climate Change Report...on Black Friday, when they thought it'd get lost in mall riot stories. Such was not the case, however, and the report got a lot of attention here and worldwide due to the findings and the accompanying dire forecasts.

So when Donnie was pressed about it, he said he "didn't believe it." And like toe, you can bet he hasn't (and won't) read it. NASA is one of the 16 agencies involved...hey, did'ya see where they stuck that landing on Mars after a 300,000,000 mile trip? Me - I'll take THEIR word over a guy who walks around trailing toilet paper and is sometimes confused about his current location.
