need more energy drinks and have to do a lot more than that to wrest the grandiosity title from Trump...
Could Cory be going by that old adage "if you can't beat them, join them?" lol

I'm heading down to the coast Wednesday night, much like (as Crow commented) Rat's wife packed up and headed into the teeth of a Cat 5 hurricane rather than stay home with him...

Heh. Dumb ass sheep. I'd run too if I lived in a trailer. But I don't.
May a Palm Tree be impaled in the drivers window of your Yugo.

headed to the coast?
I'm a creature of comfort
don't want anything to do with places without electricity or sunshine
hunkering down in hurricanes is to be avoided at all costs
time to get out of town

I've ridden out about 6 hurricanes of various strengths over the years down there, it's usually just a bunch of rain, but maybe this will be the one...

Nice “Wagon Wheel” reference.
I slept through Hurricane Fran when it passed over Fayetteville NC in the middle of the night. It wasn’t a big deal. The biggest problem was a bunch of my neighbors wanted to borrow my chain saw.

How can a man who...
-Started his business career with a million dollars and wound up a multi-billionaire
-With no political experience whatsoever ran against 16 opponents for the Republican nomination, and defeated them all
-Ran against the most powerful and well-funded political machine in modern times - the Clintons - and beat them for the presidency
-Ran against the the Establishment wing of the GOP, the entire mainstream media
-Ran against the top leadership of the FBI, DOJ and Intelligence community, who violated numerous laws in their attempt to defeat him
-Has been running rings around all of the above and implemented most of the agenda he campaigned on in less than two years
...how can a raving lunatic (as he is constantly being portrayed) do all that?
-he wasn't a billionaire. why do you think he hasn't released his tax returns?
-being last man out of the GOP clown car was not an achievement
-the Clintons are horrible right of center corporate shills - beating Hillary in the general was not an achievement
-the same mainstream media who gave him billions in free TV time? if Bernie got a small portion of that he would have won in a landslide
-Comey, dumbass
-he has implemented nothing save for bankrupting the country and expediting The Great Depression part 2 with his corrupt corporate welfare tax cuts for the billionaires
-you really need to start taking in some type of media other than Fox News once in a while

It was a big deal in Goldsboro. Massive treat hit our house, punctured the roof and water poured into the house for six hours. Half of the house was destroyed.
Also, locals say they didn't have power for a week here in Fayetteville. Why did you lie, Prof?

Never lost power in College Lakes, or at Simmons where I worked.
A few big tree branches came down in my neighbors’ yards, and a small tree fell across my street (Bayshore Dr.), but no real damage. Your mileage may vary.
Now the Green Ramp disaster - THAT was a big deal. I was a first responder, and there were charbroiled bodies all over the place, some still alive and moving. Goriest damn thing I ever saw.

College Lakes? That’s split level hell...
Green Ramp? That was early 90’s, correct? How long were you here?

The path of Florence is very Fran-like.
Glad it's not Hugo-like.
