Prince and Mars both worshipped at the alter of James Brown so he had it in him to own it.

Also very cool was the fact that The Time performed "Jungle Love" and "The Bird" right before that...

I though gaga with metallica was pretty cool

did not get the whole agent orange musical number-resist indeed--should have voted instead

beegees tribute not to sure about--meh

Alisha keyes and the other girl were pretty good

beyonce music way to much presentation for me to judge here music. not sure she did any favors parading as queen b royalty 7 mmos pregnant

bowie did get 4 Grammies I think more for pity though no one showed up to pick them up.

he had much stronger efforts in years past then the new album

I missed a good portion of the show, but I did see Mars put it down. I never saw him with a guitar in his hand before...only drums. So, that made it even more impressive.

That little dude is the king of live performance. He can do every Super Bowl and every awards show and I will never protest.

Tribe's "We The People" is a good song, but it doesn't play well live. I'm sure Tip and 'em voted. They just voted in New Jersey and New York.

Alicia has the hips I like...but no pop in the booty. I was disappointed in that.

Ed Sheeran always kills and I love Chance the Rapper.

Prince thought the sketch was so funny he used a pic of Chappelle as him on an album

Image

Chappelle was like "what am I going to do? sue prince for using a photo of me being him? Checkmate Prince"

saw a band called Kaleo last week for $10 a ticket in a venue that held maybe 2K people

looked into seeing Panic at the Disco and Saint Motel in a venue that seats 20K. Cheapest 2 block seats are $98 a pop on the very back row.

might still do it but I have sticker shock at ticket prices like that.

saw Maroon 5 2 years ago at Riverbend with Kelly Clarkson.

since you are taking your daughters you know but be prepared for a shitload of 17 year old girls crying hysterically as they sing LOUDLY every damn lyric to every song.

ZZ top will be at Riverbend in July. I might do that one.

My kids kept punching me every time I gawked at a hot mama and said "oh yeah"
