400 million funneled through intelligence agencies according to putin to Hillary--basically he admitted they hacked hillaries emails--course if you leave the keys in the ignition and the car running somebody is going to come along and steal the emails--er car.

trump should have told putin to cut it out--just like Obama did.
but he does a better job with his actions

last I checked the sanctions were still in place
we were still arming the Ukraine with advanced weapons systems
60 diplomats were still kicked out of this country
wargames were still going on by nato in countries adjacent to Russia 70% financed by us
Us military being increased
10,000 more troops to Europe
yeah trump is sure a putin puppet

Trump's friendliness to the Russians is as dismaying to the Left as Obama's friendliness to Muslim extremists was to the Right.

Obama obviously had a deep and romantic fondness for Islam, as he expressed in his book that the Muslim call to prayer "was one of the most beautiful sounds in the world." Every time some Muslim terrorist beheaded, blew up, or drove over innocent civilians, the very first thing you'd hear out of Obama's mouth was a tedious defense of Islam rather than condemning the terrorists. He didn't even permit the words "Islamic" and "terrorist" to be used in the same paragraph in his administration. His tendency to ignore the direct connection between the terrorists and Islam was dismaying to the Right.

Obama's Islamophilia reached its peak in the Iran nuke deal, where Obama was eager to give every conceivable kitchen sink to the Mullahs of one of the most anti-American regimes on the planet. That was just plain stupefying to conservatives. Now the Left knows how we felt back in those days.

Then I'd say oprama's islamowhatsit bottomed out when he exterminated Osama Bin Laden. And the iran nuke deal, with our [maybe] allies England, France, and Germany carrying the water, continues unabated.

As for what's stupefying to conservatives, yesterday's appease-athon has many of them stuped out of their friggin' minds. Real conservatives are cold warriors, unlike latte-sippers like Nunes and Gaetz.

Put it all together.

1. Pulling out of Syria
2. Pulling out/trying to cancel the Iran Nuke Deal(Raised oil prices great for Russia)
3. Trade War(Only great for countries not involved, like Russia)
4. Leaving the UN Human Rights Council
5. Leaving the TPP
6. Slamming Article 5; pulling out of NATO
7. Talking about leaving the WTO
8. Discussing dropping sanctions on Russia
9. Adding Russia back to G-7
SPECIAL BONUS
10. Free media is the enemy of the people
11. DOJ, FBI, intel services are corrupt and inaccurate

It's more than pulling strings. Putin is the defacto President of the United States.

Thank you, Tick, for reminding Trump supporters precisely WHY we support him:
bluetick wrote:Put it all together.

1. Pulling out of Syria
Awesome. Long overdue. We are finally done trying to be the world's policemen. If they want to slaughter each other, let them.
2. Pulling out/trying to cancel the Iran Nuke Deal(Raised oil prices great for Russia)
The Iran Nuke Deal was the single greatest act of treason by any American president. I'm surprised Obama didn't also sign over Michelle to the mullah's harem as part of that deal. And Trump's opening up ANWAR, Keystone, and nationwide fracking made oil prices go DOWN, which hurt Russia. When Trump denounced Germany's decision to become totally dependent on Russia for their energy, he was advocating a policy that would take billions AWAY from Russia. Nice try, though.
3. Trade War(Only great for countries not involved, like Russia)
Yeah, I'm not crazy about that either. It's uncharted territory, fraught with possibilities of unintended consequences. Regardless, Russia's economy is about the same as Italy - so they are bit players in the current Trade War.
4. Leaving the UN Human Rights Council
Excellent move. That council has been a joke for a long time, having been chaired by some of the worst human rights abusers in the world. No need to dignify that farce with our presence.
5. Leaving the TPP
Outstanding. That IS what presidents are supposed to do, put the economic interests of his own citizens ahead of the economic interests of workers of other countries, right?
6. Slamming Article 5; pulling out of NATO
Did we pull out of NATO? Gee, I must have missed that. Please post the link.
7. Talking about leaving the WTO
If the WTO disadvantages American workers and favors workers of other countries, then I am fine with that. (See TPP above)
8. Discussing dropping sanctions on Russia
Trump just put strong sanctions ON Russia. You may not be aware of that. If Russians correct their behavior, they should be let back in.
9. Adding Russia back to G-7
If they correct their behavior, I'm fine with that too. China is on the G-7, and they are at least as totalitarian and thuggish as Russia. You don't seem be outraged by them.
SPECIAL BONUS
10. Free media is the enemy of the people
Fake, fact free, totally partisan, and utterly hysterical media IS the enemy of the people. That doesn't mean that they should be influenced at all by the State, but the behavior of CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC, CBS, WaPo, NYT, USAT, Boston Globe, etc etc etc. is disgraceful, and a great disservice to the American people.
11. DOJ, FBI, intel services are corrupt and inaccurate
The DOJ and FBI ARE corrupt and inaccurate. Nearly their whole top echelons have been fired for investigative misconduct. The jury is still out on the IC, but the NSA just got caught spying on people without authorization. And former DNI Brennan is an early inductee into the Trump Derangement Syndrome Hall of Fame, so it doesn't look good.

I may need to find a way to incorporate your post into my ongoing scorecard of Trump's accomplishments.

So does that mean Ron Paul is a TRAITOR to the Russians?

And does this mean blacks are longing to return to the high unemployment they enjoyed under the Democrats?

In other news, it has been a long time since the last “THIS IS IT” article. There used to be a steady supply of breathless reporting that Manafort had flipped and is singing like a canary to investigators to avoid prison, Flynn has turned state’s evidence, Stormy Daniels has proof Trump paid her, Cohen is a treasure trove of dirt on all of Trump’s nefarious deeds, the Coffee Boy is revealing Trump’s betrayal of our national decaf secrets, Sessions’ treacherous conversation with a Russian ambassador, Junior’s secret meeting with Kremlin secret agents, Jared was working with the Russian mafia to international money, something called “emoluments” whatever that is, etc etc etc.

As a result of this amassed and damning evidence against Trump, Mueller is closing in for the kill. Trump is a gonner. Guaranteed. Slam dunk. Pence will be POTUS any day now.

How’s that going?

An hour ago, the NYTimes broke the story that intelligence officials gave Trump definite proof two weeks prior to the inauguration about Russian interference in the 2016 election. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/18/worl ... ling-.html

Two weeks before his inauguration, Donald J. Trump was shown highly classified intelligence indicating that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia had personally ordered complex cyberattacks to sway the 2016 American election.

The evidence included texts and emails from Russian military officers and information gleaned from a top-secret source close to Mr. Putin, who had described to the C.I.A. how the Kremlin decided to execute its campaign of hacking and disinformation.

Mr. Trump sounded grudgingly convinced, according to several people who attended the intelligence briefing. But ever since, Mr. Trump has tried to cloud the very clear findings that he received on Jan. 6, 2017, which his own intelligence leaders have unanimously endorsed.

Did you actually read the whole article or the first few sentences...

"But there is another aspect of the labor market that needs to be considered. As noted above, tighter labor markets have disproportionately allowed blacks to get jobs. The number of blacks employed in the first quarter of 2018 is 10.6 percent higher than in the first quarter of 2015. It's 15.1 percent higher than the number for the first quarter of 2014. By comparison, employment of whites in the first quarter of 2018 was up by 2.9 percent compared with the first quarter of 2015 and 4.2 percent compared to the first quarter of 2014.

This matters for the median wage calculation, since the newly employed workers are likely to be concentrated at the bottom end of the wage distribution. These are likely people with less education and experience than most of the people who had previously been working. That means that the median black worker in 2018 likely had less education and experience than the median black worker in 2015.

This would have the effect of pulling down the wage at the median. If we wanted to do a true apples-to-apples comparison, we would be comparing the median worker in 2015 with someone higher up on the distribution in 2018. If we take the extreme case and assume that all the new entrants to the labor force between 2015 and 2018 were below the median, then the 2015 median black worker would be at roughly the 55th percentile of the wage distribution for black workers in 2018.

"The usual weekly earnings for a black worker at the 75th percentile of the distribution was 56 percent higher than the median earnings in the first quarter of 2018. If we assume that the gap is linear (i.e. moving up five percentage points in the wage distribution closes the gap between the 75th percentile and 50th percentile by one fifth) it means that in this extreme case, we would have to add more than 11 percent to the median wage in 2018 to make an apples-to-apples comparison to the data for 2015. By that measure, black workers are indeed gaining ground in this tighter labor market. (This story is consistent with the real wage gains we see over the last three years for blacks lower down in the wage distribution, 9.6 percent for the 10th percentile, and 7.1 percent for the 25th percentile. These cutoffs would be less affected by the large increase in employment since many of the new workers would be above these cutoffs.)

We can do more careful analysis with the microdata, where we see what is happening to pay for African Americans when we control for age, education, gender, and other factors, but the picture in this summary data is not as negative as it may first appear. We know for certain that there has been a huge increase in employment over the last four years for black workers. Those at the bottom clearly have seen substantial wage gains over this period. It seems likely that those at the middle did as well."

Trump is on a trolling campaign against the Left, and it is working like a charm. Every day the Left wakes up and asks themselves, “What can I do today that will destroy that odious orangutan that the Russians installed as POTUS.” And every day, Trump wakes up and asks himself, “What can I say today that will make the Left even more crazy than what I said yesterday?”

And every day, the Left takes the bait. They just can’t help themselves anymore. Trump rounds up illegal aliens, the Democrats call for abolishing ICE. Trump disparages NATO’s spending, the Left elects a 28 year old Socialist to Congress. Trump says “Putin refuted the charges of meddling very strongly,” the DNC Chair calls the 28 Socialist “the future of the Democrat Party.” Trump says the IC was wrong, the NYT screams “TRAITOR!” He says “I meant to say ‘wouldn’t’” and the Director of the CIA calls it “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

Within the past two weeks, Trump has goaded the Democrats into passionately declaring themselves the party of impeachment, no borders and Socialism, just in time for the midterms. By 2020, he will have the Democrats calling for collectivizing farms, outlawing the internal combustion engine, and ordering school children to sing “The Internationale” instead of reciting the pledge of allegiance.

Glorious...
