The DNC heavily favored lifelong dem Hillary over lifelong independent Bernie, no doubt. Bernie never missed a ballot, though - he just came up wayyyy short on delegates and votes. Some unethical stuff occurred that the party apologized for, and DWS got the axe. Sanders seemed to get over it, and it looks like he's gonna take another bite out of the apple in 2020 - he'll no doubt count on your support again. heh

Would you agree the next GOP prez primary likely won't have such a Russian flavor next time around? No russkie troll farms picking off opponents, no pro-Russian additions to the party platform this time, less oligarch money in the campaign...and surely to pete no more meetings, 'adoption' or otherwise. Treason had it's day but one get's the sense that it's going out of style, n'est se pas?

Does that mean I am allowed to put Russian dressing on my salad now? Is the coast now clear for me to eat chicken Kiev? Is it suddenly permissible to read Tolstoy or attend the Nutcracker? Is Stolichnaya still banned from my liquor cabinet? Or is all that still considered dangerous, subversive and treasonous? Jon Meacham was in town last night promoting his "The Soul of America: A Search for Our Better Angels". Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) was his 'interviewer' - I had a 2nd row seat and got to meet the author after the sit-down lecture. Just an awesome event for the most part, sro.

I gotta say, handing out mics to the crowd wasn't a great idea. People heckled Lamar pretty good about not joining in with Corker, Flake, and McCain in calling out Trump for his transgressions. Seeing in the news how McConnell got publicly hounded this weekend, I wondered if what I witnessed might make a ripple (haven't seen anything though). To his credit Lamar handled it all with grace.

Coach Johnny Majors and Mary Lynn were in our row and Coach looked dapper in a searsucker suit and purple tennies.

It'll have the flavor that the msm and the establishment dreams up, that's how it goes....I don't see any serious establishment threat to DJT, especially now that 0bama can't sic the FBI on him.....and with all the free campaigning for him already underway from the prog resistance, it should be another victory for flyover country.
