We don't push him at all, he's very self-motivated. We got a batting cage for Christmas for him and his brother and he's out there using it constantly. He gets PISSED when practice is cancelled due to weather. He goes out throwing with his brother almost daily. I encourage him to take breaks when he can but he seems to still love it. We've told him in the past that even if he quit we would support him, so I don't know how to make it any more fun. He is playing in a very low-key league this fall so hopefully it will be very low pressure.
