apparently there is some distinction in burning versus hanging?
we live in over sensitive times.

He's hung himself a few times during rough sex with the other pastors and the kids.

Excerpts from the ruling of an Illinois judge striking down some of that blue state’s crazier restrictions:
I won't get COVID if I get an abortion but I will get COVID if I get a colonoscopy.
Selling pot is essential but selling goods and services at a family- owned business is not. Pot wasn't even legal and pot dispensaries didn't even exist in this state until five months ago and, in that five months, they have become essential but a family-owned business in existence for five generations is not.
A family of six can pile in their car and drive to Carlyle Lake without contracting COVID but, if they all get in the same boat, they will.
We are told that kids rarely contract the virus and sunlight kills it, but summer youth programs, sports programs are cancelled.
Four people can drive to the golf course and not get COVID but, if they play in a foursome, they will.
If I go to Walmart, I won't get COVID but, if I go to church, I will.
Murderers are released from custody while small business owners are threatened with arrest if they have the audacity to attempt to feed their families.
The utter stupidity of some of the restrictions is why millions of Americans are simply ignoring them.

even with a gap created that could be easily reversed with Americans just resuming normal activities, I don't see great economic news between now and the election.
Our next quarter just fell off a cliff - automotive was dead last quarter but no signs of life, now aerospace is dying along with consumer electronics and durable goods. The only thing that is holding steady or increasing for us is federal and defense spending. Now maybe we're just lagging and these will rebound once the service sector kicks back in, but in order to address it in the election will need to see a noticeable rebound by late September.
My renter notified me that she could start paying rent again in June so that was encouraging.

Yesterday, Boeing announced 6000 layoffs. My son works for UTC/Raytheon in their commercial aerospace division. They are offering job internal interviews for their defense division. He’s pursuing that because he can see the writing on the wall.
The shut down was the worst decision by this country in the 20th century. I blame Trump for giving in to pussies that want to save every life at any cost. Dems pushed him to do it and are now blaming him for it.

its kind of like preventing 9/11
had they sent a tomahawk missile straight into the cave of Bin Laden and arrested his lackeys taking flying lessons in Florida
the world would be a much different place - but we'd never know it, people would complain about Bush killing off brown people, blah blah blah not appreciating his actions saved the lives of hundreds of thousands of people (wars that followed), avoided economic calamity and prevented the loss of our personal freedoms. You can't appreciate something that never happened.
Imagine if Trump had stepped up in late January, shut down air travel from Asia, cruise lines and demanded that we implement safe distancing, barriers and stop large scale events until June 1. The dow would have tanked to say 27K, unemployment would have been maybe 8% and maybe 75K people die.
And he would have been vilified, guaranteed to lose the election and even the staunchest republican supporters in the Senate would have bailed on him - but with what we know now, he would actually have been one of the greatest leaders we've had facing diversity.
That's why I'm not dogging him - not because I think he handled it perfectly, but because its a no win situation for him. To take the action he wanted, he would have been blamed for the economic downfall only because people had no idea how bad it could get. Because he eventually caved to closure, he's blamed for the deaths, even though the numbers are far, far, far fewer than proposed which drove the decision to close in the first place. People are angry right now because 100K people have died when 1.2M was projected
Take Cuomo and Whitmer - they are liberal darlings, yet their leadership still amounted to them governing states with the highest outbreak and deaths of the virus. Even if they are below per capita, they failed miserably as leaders in foreseeing and acting on this, but because they are bucking heads with Trump, Cuomo was actually considered a presidential candidate - and Whitmer , while she won't get it because she isn't the right skin color, is on the short list to be a VP candidate.

So Klobuchar failed to prosecute this same Minneapolis cop when she was county attorney or something? That’s unlucky .

Do you mean unlucky for George Floyd and no telling how many other unreported abuses he no doubt perpetrated over the years? Yeah, I agree...

No doubt. And, as I said, unlucky for the no telling how many victims of the crimes that this criminal with a badge has perpetrated over the years. The guy has been cited numerous times, (shocking to no one) but even if he hadn't been, there's no way is something like this is a one off. He has probably murdered before, they were just better at keeping it quiet...
