doesn't feel that way in college basketball
100% agreed. They’ve opened Pandora’s Box in college basketball. It’ll look like that NBA shit product soon.

This is where facilities and fan bases count. They about to get paid to play in college.

It's really going to be on when he's wearing the Carolina blue uni, which is far closer to Bird's Indiana State uni than the foul red one he's been donning for the past 4 years...

Brad Stevens turned down a 7 year $70 million dollar contract to coach Indiana

Locked in as the highest paid coach in college basketball for 7 years and he turns it down

Any program thinking he is coming back to college any time soon is mistaken

That's good to know, he was the one guy I didn't want going to Duke when K retires (which I bet will be pretty soon)...

He will come back when he gets fired in the NBA. Some other big program will always need a coach and be willi g to offer something like that, IMO

Someone in the NBA will snatch him up first.

Yeah, NBA is notorious for retreading its coaches.

Besides, the life of an NBA coach is less arduous. Don't have to spend off-season on the recruiting circuit.

No. He will have 2-3 job offers within 48 hours of any termination, and absent missing the playoffs this year and next year, Ainge isn’t going to fire Stevens
