I'm convinced Herman Cain would have been at least 80-90% as ridiculous a POTUS as Trump is now.

As for the Lady in Red, that neighborhood looks like she might actually need 2-3 of those guns max, but if she wants all 30 to feel safe, more power to her. Plus the zombies will be coming soon and it's better to have a few too many than a few too few.

James Clapper under oath in 2017:

“never saw any direct empirical evidence that the Trump campaign or someone in it was plotting [or] conspiring with the Russians to meddle with the election. That’s not to say that there weren’t concerns about the evidence we were seeing, anecdotal evidence…[redacted],” Clapper continued, “But I do not recall any instance when I had direct evidence of the content of these meetings. It’s just the frequency and prevalence of them was of concern.”

James Clapper in public on CNN: "Vladimir Putin is a “great case officer... he knows how to handle an asset, and that’s what he’s doing with the president.”

Andrew McCabe under oath in 2017:

“What is the most damning or important piece of evidence in the dossier that you now know is true?” McCabe was asked during his December 2017 interview.“Well, as I tried to explain before, there is a lot of information in the Steele reporting. We have not been able to prove the accuracy of all the information,” he answered. Pressed further to confirm that he did not know if Christopher Steele’s dossier was true, McCabe said, “That’s correct.”

Andrew McCabe in public in 2019:

“I was speaking to the man who had just run for the presidency, and won the election for the presidency, and who might have done so with the aid of the government of Russia, our most formidable adversary on the world stage and that was something that troubled me greatly.”

Samantha Power under oath in 2017:

“I am not in possession of anything—I am not in possession and didn’t read or absorb information that came from out of the intelligence community.”

Samantha Power in public in 2019:

“Every day @realDonaldTrump finds new ways to compensate Vladimir Putin for his election interference. And every day Putin gains additional incentive to interfere again on Trump’s behalf in 2020,”

Susan Rice under oath in 2017:

“Rice told House investigators that she hadn’t seen evidence proving then-candidate Trump coordinated or colluded with Russia to take the 2016 election. 'I don’t recall intelligence that I would consider evidence to that effect that I saw prior…to my departure...'"

Susan Rice in 2018:

“What his motivations are I think is a legitimate question … the policies that this president has pursued globally have served Vladimir Putin’s interests,” she said at the time.

Some of the ringleaders of the attempted coups against Trump knew in 2017 that the Trump-Russia collusion narrative was false. But that didn't stop them from lying about it for the next three years.

Hey Prof, how much you wanna bet that nothing is going to come of any investigation of any of those people (or anybody else you come with) you mentioned? And by nothing, I don't mean no convictions, I mean no charges. But hey, repubs are good at conducting multi-year "investigations" that result in no charges...

Yuge SCOTUS decision coming today. Basically, we find out if we have a president or a king.

A good article that relates. I've Seen Trump's Taxes, and You Should Too https://www.yahoo.com/news/ive-seen-tru ... 29347.html

One of the few things you post I'll actually agree with. All the Republicans do is talk, talk, talk - especially Lyndsay Graham and Gowdy. They're scared to ruffle the feathers of the Dems even when they have overwhelming evidence of their corruption. I'll give the Dems one thing.... they stick together unlike the Repubs. If this was a Republican administration that had done the criminal things the Obummer administration did, most or all would be serving multi-year sentences for their deeds. Some of these career Repubs who have skeletons in their closet and are afraid the Dems will expose them need to retire or be voted out of office and get people in Congress who aren't afraid of the what the Dems would throw their way. Then you see them clean up the dirty Democrats in Washington.
