You can't touch the woman's thigh and kiss the neck at the same time?

Crow's post about what's her name's parched walnut and frozen tundra came to my mind during this whole discussion...

that guy I was telling you about was also a first class prick.

I remember him telling me a story about him living on a golf course and them building a house next to him. He came home one day to find the Mexican workers had hooked up a hose to his outdoor water faucet next to his fence and were using it to drink from and wash their boots off of and he threw a fit about it.

I'm a big believer in karma - I'm guessing he had a lot of bad days in his life.

Nobody would stop their bike at a fucking branch across the trail if a grizzly was chasing them. You'd jump that shit and keep going...

I can't understand those other guys, either. You've got a two wheels and gravity, I'd be going downhill as fast as I could as much as I could. Fall off, get back up, and keep going. They fell off, stopped, and turned around. I guess to see if the bear was still coming. WTF?

spent last night googling "grizzly bear attacks." that was an entertaining hour. I loved the one of a group of guys trout fishing in Alaska, presumably, and a young grizzly comes up where they are. A few of them hurried a little bit farther away but at least 2 or 3 of the older guys just kept fishing, occasionally peeking around to see what he was doing. Finally, they threw rocks at him and he ambled off, puzzled by their hostility.

I guess the old guys knew that a grizzly wouldn't attack a big group or maybe they just figured he was too young to pose much of a threat.

There was a site that said if a grizzly charges, you should run. Not that you'll outrun it but it's your only chance if you don't have a gun or can't climb a tree. Black bears can climb after you.

The main thing with bears is that you're not supposed to look like a threat, ie, don't test 'em.

I heard don't run too, from a friend who lives in Montana and is into this kind of stuff. But I'd still run...

the thing I read said that you won't be able to scare a grizzly bear, as you might a black bear, and if you try to play dead, you'll probably end up dead. Running is probably not going to work since they can outrun humans but it's better than just laying there and hoping it won't slap your head clean off your body.

You only have to out run whoever's with you.

"the thing I read said that you won't be able to scare a grizzly bear, as you might a black bear"

Size matters in situations like this. In which case, you'd stand a good chance of scaring all but the largest black bears...

"I was at the doctor today and the nurse, probably 60 something and starting to wither but still with a girlish bounce "

I guess pushing 70 is technically "60-something", but pushing 70 is a more accurate description. I can't decide which is more heinous, pedophilia or gerophilia...

You'd better start tripling the zeroes in your bank account then because in 10 years, all you're going to get is saggedy cunty.
