Da'Rick Rogers suspended indefinitely for violations of team rules.
It just never ends.

I thought it ended for Tennessee about 7 years ago...

Hearing something about our AD suspending him because of dealings with an agent.

ESPN is reporting he refused to shower correctly after numerous warnings.

Dooley now saying that Rogers is not likely to return this season. On the one hand, it's a shocking loss. OTotherH, it seems like something that was destined to happen. Last year we lose our most heralded defensive player right before the start of the season. This year, it's our most heralded offensive player. We're cursed, I tell ya'.

We can only hope and pray that Justin Hunter can stay healthy and that Cordarrelle Patterson lives up to the hype.
God knows Zach Rogers isn't the answer.

I'm not terribly shocked about losing DaRick. DaRick= DaDummy. Everyone here knew it was a matter of time before the ax fell. The @#$% thing is, why did/does this crap have to happen, to us again, right before the @#$% season starts?! Would it be to much to ask for this to happen 2-3 months ago? Or perhaps 5-6 games into the season so the other receivers would've had some practice in real games.
If Justin Hunter goes down again, I'm dropping CFB as a hobby and taking up needle point or something.
Any bets on what school will take Rogers while heralding how he left us to join their top notch program? ::cough::cough::USC::cough::cough::

OF has been calling his suspension/dismissal forever. Congrats on the soothsaying.

It has been an off-season of attrition at Auburn too. We lost former 5 star RB Mike Dyer, former 4 star QB Zeke Pike, former 4 star WR Deangelo Benton, and incoming 4 star RB Jovon Robinson.
This attrition rate reminds of the Tubby days.

A better rumor has Rogers throwing a weight at the S & C Coach earlier in the week.
Ah well, it was just too good to be true anyway. A fantasy it was...a top QB and three game-changers at WR, an air attack the likes we've never seen (even in the Shular/Manning/Martin era). Whereas the reality is the QB is a head-case, one WR is coming off reconstructive knee surgery; one hasn't caught a D1 pass, and the other was a grenade with the pin pulled.
Meanwhile Dooley...hasn't caught the first break yet, and may never as UT HC.

If he did that, they should kick him out of the school and call the police to file some assault charges.
With all the rumours of drug usage on his part, it wouldn't suprise me if he threw the weight, they got to wondering why he did that, and the ordered up a drug test to eventually find out he was doing drugs.
He's a jerk wad in a big way. Just kick him off the team now and get it over with. Forget about this indifinite suspension crap. It obviously isn't working with him.

The rumors are flying. One of them involves an agent. I keep hoping that it's not that serious and that this is FINALLY the wake-up call that changes Da'Rick. But I'm not optimistic.
