I read an article, I think the Washington Post where credible sources are thinking the virus did originate in a Wuhan lab, not as a bio weapon but as a training tool to promote Chinese medical procedures being on par with the U.S. - meaning they were developing virus and then addressing how to identify, control and create vaccines for them.

Someone got infected, left the lab and the world died 6 months later

On another similar front, here's an item relating to that post eCat shared the other day from the guy who isn't a doctor who was talking about why hydrochloroquin was effective against CV:

The virus made its way to the US via Europe. At leat the eastern half. It was a duel attack from both sides. Nike them both.

Republicans tried to pass more money for Americans’ paychecks last week. Democrats blocked it. Speaker Pelosi said she saw “no data as to why we need it." She said "we have time to negotiate.”

Now its out of money. Business that were staying open on the promise of that money will close

It was Senate dems who blocked the bill. They wanted to negotiate MORE funding, for reasons listed below. McConnell wouldn't negotiate - savvy pol that he is, he likes the headline "dems block". Beats "repubs won't negotiate"...admittedly.

Democrats block $250 billion boost for small businesses, saying help needed for hospitals, other priorities
Christal Hayes
Ledyard King USA TODAY

When the measure came up Thursday on a voice vote, Maryland Democratic Sens. Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen objected, effectively blocking it. The pair offered an alternative measure that included the small-business funding, along with additional provisions that would help hospitals and state and local governments. When it was offered on the floor, McConnell objected, effectively blocking the measure from being approved.

Cardin and Van Hollen cited several reasons they did not approve of the measure as it stands: The program has committed only about one-third of its allotment; other programs, such as hospital funding and emergency grants for small businesses, need help first; and many banks offering federally backed loans through the PPP are not doing a good job rescuing businesses in low-income neighborhoods.

The bill "was not negotiated, so it won’t get done," Cardin, the top Democrat on the Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee, said on the Senate floor. "It's not going to be enacted, and the majority leader knows that.”

Pelosi controls the Senate Dems. They were ready to pull the trigger on the last spending bill until she left her freezer full of ice cream and flew into Washington to stop it.

so because they couldn't get more money ,they blocked any money?

makes sense
