"Two hours before tip-off, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced that Monday night's North Carolina matchup against Miami has been postponed. The game was set to be played at the Smith Center at 7 p.m. and televised by ESPN.
While neither school has disclosed specific reasons for why the game was canceled, Stadium reports that Miami was not comfortable moving forward with the game after a video appeared on social media and was published by The Daily Tar Heel of North Carolina players Armando Bacot and Day'Ron Sharpe unmasked in a group setting on Saturday night."

Welp, guess not. UT by 11. Crotch's dream of UK fans never rushing the court lives on...
I told Crotch years ago that was bullshit. We rushed the court when we beat Tennessee to win the conference in 1973. I was there. I didn't see it on television or watch it on replay. I was there. I was in it. I saw with my own eyes. Get the book Big Blue Machine by Russell Rice. The picture on the back cover is the students carrying Joe Hall off the court.

Kentucky takes the lead with 10 seconds left, fouls a shooter with 4 seconds left, throws the ball to our seven footer and expects him to run up the court, he promptly throws it to an Arkansas player.
Its those well executed plays in February that make Cals $9m so worth it

During Carolina’s 8-20 season, we were 6-12 after 18 games. Kentucky is now 5-13. The only pro on our 2002 roster was Jawad Williams, but he was a skinny freshman who stayed all four years and won a national championship. It’ll certainly be interesting to see how many UK players from this team make the NBA.

I don't know where Brian Morrison is right now, but I guarantee he just threw the ball away...

Johnson opting out and quitting his team in the long run is probably a good thing.
Kalil Whitney did this with UK last year mid season, Hagans refused to go into a game at the end of the year, Cam'ron Fletcher did it this year a few games in (he came back and has played a total of about 12 minutes since), we also have another player who has a lingering injury that should have only lasted a couple of weeks that has turned into months. Some fans believe he has opted out and using an injury as the excuse.
At any rate coaches are now going to have to address this - OAD kids emulating people like Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond when they feel their college experience is interfering with their ability to go pro.
Just another reason in my eyes to end the OAD situation in the college.

Now going to have to address this? Cal found a way to address this that he's been using for over a decade: He recruits these kids and only these kids. Thanks for showing the way, Cal...

yep, and its biting him in the ass right now
He has created a monster he can't control, but if he stops feeding it, he is out of a job. He may be out of a job with it

Considering the terms of his contract, I don't think he's too worried about being out of this particular job..

yea, but is he prepared to be miserable and can't leave his house during that contract?
