I'm sure most UK players have had to grapple with that emotion at multiple points in their time at Kentucky...

they probably wondered it having to attend class
something that their UNC counterparts didn't have to deal with

Are you picking up or dropping off the tiller/printer/laptop/all of the above at your mom's on the way?

You could probably drop off the laptop at your mom's on the way down to pick up your daughter, and by the time you're heading back she will need you to drop by and pick it back up due to viruses...

Watching Big Blue Madness on the SEC channel. All new names at UK. Hardly get to know them before they're gone. It's nice to see the old Memorial Coliseum again. My senior year was the last year the men played there. Rupp opened that fall.

Then who would fuck your mother. It's a dirty job but somebody has to do it.

CPAs and lawyers make money on billable hours so we’re task oriented to begin with. We lost no efficiency by working remote. Some of our older partners still don’t realize the impact of this. They are still trying to get the folks back in the office. Problem is, most of the young group don’t t want to go back to the office. Had a manager come to my office a few days back saying they are leaving and joining a NYC firm. I said are you moving to NYC? She said, no, it will be 100% remote even after Covid and I’m making NYC salary.
There is a rude awakening for some firm partners as to the effect of all this. Also a bad sign for NYC entertainment venues.
I think wage and rent arb will make many people choose to be away from city centers. The young people will still come to NYC to work and the visitor will still choose to turn midtown Manhattan into a shitshow of slow moving tourists. NYC needed a thinning out, a bit, and can afford to absorb it.

I wish I was thinning out a bit - I could also afford to absorb it
