eCat's closer to ex-PWT than he is to East Coast conservative gravy train legacy giving conservative. He's north Louisiana, rural Mississippi. He's the one that is targeted by the Republican elite, get riled up, vote for candidate we put forward but then shut up. Similar to the religious conservative, who are treated the same. The problem is that this has lead to the rise of the libertarian within the party who because of their enthusiasm aren't happy with the token rhetoric.
I still think a viable libertarian party would shake up things more in the long run than having them part of the Republican party.

I agree. Do what you can to get her into CCD. Best case she gets a really good education, has her choice of top colleges, gets a great degree with million dollar job opportunities. Worst case she gets knocked up by some millionaire brat kid or finds her future husband and is set for life without having to work another day.

Elementary schools, pre-schools, and daycare are all run almost solely by women.

night and day difference in my kids
although the boy is respectful and well behaved - honestly you couldn't ask for a better son, except he has alot of quit in him
if I could just stop him from being lazy, I'd never have to say a harsh word to him ever.

At the end of the day, though, he'll get to college and the women will all defer to him and his buddies in class and outside because they want to be married and have kids. That's why the wage gap continues along the gender lines the way it does.

yea, I know for a fact that we start women out at the same salary as men, but 5 years down the road, they're going to get knocked up and either 1. quit, 2. demand their hours are drastically cut back, 3, switch jobs within the company or switch jobs to another company - either of which will be less demanding that what they currently have - and consequently - all resulting in less pay. We just lost a woman who was fast tracking to be a director last month. Had a baby last year, husband told her to quit working and traveling so much, she didn't, got divorced and had to quit to get parental rights.
Nothing wrong with it - matter of fact, I'd prefer women did stay at home with the kiddos from say birth to at least 9 years old, but that's just my preference. We've always lived on my salary - anything my wife made was just gravy in case she ever needed to quit and go back to being a mom again.
Of course if we end up sending my daughter to fancy fart school in richie rich ville, then she's not only going to have to work but get a real damn job.
btw, my daughters lacrosse team played fancy fart school yesterday at the school so I was able to walk around a bit and check it out while we were there (from the outside). Our team won and my daughter scored 3 goals so I hope this school is into athletics as a determinant too.
