"Big difference. Nobody cares about UNCe football because they have never mattered on a national scale."

Auggie cares very deeply about almost anything having to do with Carolina...

Augie lives in an efficiency above a gas station that rents porn. Of course he's angry. Throw him a bone. You need a new dishwasher right?

"Their precedence is to only vacate wins if a school knew, or reasonably should have known."

Ah yes, but who is "the school"? Depends on who you ask. For instance, I suspect Auggie's definition is quite liberal when it comes to UNC. Janitor, friend of a co-ed, deceased fan...

The NCAA's definition is nebulous. It is possible that they could rule the player who was working with the agent a representative of UA. If that happens (and I don't believe it likely) Alabama could receive major sanctions.

Regardless of what I think, the assistant head coach did know, and the head coach should have known seeing as how he had the bag woman for the agents working in his home as a tutor for his son. Seeing as how they were salaried employees who's job description was oversight of the football team and the athletes on it, I think anyone with a lick of common sense would consider them "the school". But you keep trying to throw that straw man out there.

U*NC's still cheating. And still hasnt paid for it's past cheating. Not my fault more and more of U*NC's crap keep getting exposed. If U*NC had come clean three years ago this would all be over.

Well, what do you expect?

Also. Bama wins. 41-31.

It will never be over because U*NC will never stop cheating. You're on probation for athletes having contact with agents already and sure enough your best basketball player is riding around in cars provided by a drug running thug from Durham. And what are you doing about it? Nothing, because that would cost you some wins.

Why are you talking about this b.s. on the Bama thread?

We should be seeing AA bemoan how god-awful bad the Bama defense looked yesterday...

AA predicted what the NCAA would do about Bama's new scandal. I used U*NC as precedent to what the NCAA could do. Hedge and DS came in with their usual caterwauling about "you're the only one that cares" "The janitor did it" "We''ll let you finish but U*NC is the best cheaters of all time!" I was actually trying to contribute to the conversation, but God forbid anybody point out that U*NC's cheating and the NCAA's reaction to it might have repercussions any where else.

We had no answer for TAMU and Manziel. He is faster than our fastest LB, and elusive with a great sense of balance. But he is also an accurate passer.

So, we play pressure and contain the run, he passes for 10+. We play pass coverage, he scrambles for 10+. We play vanilla, he took his pick.

In the end, his two INTs were enough for us to hold on and win. I hope his draft stock goes up and he declares. Crazy talented. Reminds ne of trying to cover Doug Flutie.

Congrats to Bama...was heartily rooting for you

Manziell is good...but his receivers bailed him out on multiple occasions. A&M had several huge plays where Johnny would just heave the ball downfield 50 yards without looking. Fortunate that an A&M guy seemed to come down with it more often than not.
