If anything, he was pulled aside and told that that was a distinct possibility and he was like "fuck naw I'm not gonna tell them that, the markets will crash. They're going to die anyway, so fuck em. Maybe if I act like it's not a big deal the markets won't drop as much and I'll get reelected." Of course, since he's an idiot, it didn't quite work out that way...

Now evem Tucker is turning on Richard Burr, saying he not only told his close constituents that CV was fixin to be a tsunami, but that he sold a bunch of hotel stock in advance of the coronavirus outbrreak, which I would guess has made him a tidy profit. Tucker didn't seem happy. In fact, he called on Burr to resign...

Anyway, here is the man who speaks for the entire democrat party. Only six months into Trump’s presidency:

“I thought he’d crash the stock market. And I still think he will. I’m hoping, actually. Because that’s the one thing, I think that maybe would cause him to lose support from the Republican Party...”

That kind of mindset, which yearns for an economic downturn as long as it gets rid of Trump, is totally disgusting in the eyes of normal sane people (people who don’t live in states bordering the West Coast or North Atlantic). That will be a very effective campaign commercial.

and that's why the Florida governor dragged his feet on spring break as long as he could. It wasn't until the entire nation was telling people to leave Florida and act responsible that he started getting serious about this
