Here's a Democrat fevered imagination: Trump pays a visit to his Russian handler:

I would care if you really had evidence Trump colluded with the Russians. I repeat:
This is a good time for me to remind everybody of what a real conspiracy and collusion would look like:

"Hey Vlad. Don here. Listen, I've got a great idea: if you can get me elected president by, say, getting a bunch of blue collar former Obama voters in PA, OH, WI and MI to vote for me, then as president, I won't lift a finger if you want to invade the rest of Ukraine or the Balkans."

You get a tape or an email of something like that, and I'll join your lynch mob. But you don't have anything close to that. If you ever do, wake me up.
Trump's son having a meeting with some Russian functionaries about oppo research on Hillary ain't it. That's not a smoking gun. That's a water pistol without any water. Keep looking...

Or maybe some fringe liberal group just figured out that Muslims disapprove of homosexuality.

Or maybe another Muslim blowing up his own mosque. Or maybe a mutilated little girl or a butt fucked little boy grew up and took some revenge.

Say what you want about Obama, but at least most of his detractors didn't like him b/c of his policies, and not anything to do with his demeanor or personal or professional behavior. In that regard, he was as dignified, well-spoken and "presidential" as you could possibly hope for. Actually, though, now that I think of it, those characteristics were anathema to many of the people who didn't like him. With Trump, they've gotten Ric Flair, and that's exactly what they wanted...
Funny thing about Obama's detractors (look up the caucus room conspiracy if you haven't already) is that they couldn't talk about the actual problems with him because his real shortcomings were all things that were much worse on the GOP side, i.e. basically governing as a corporate and Wall St. shill. So they came up with a lot of nonsense and fed it to the Fox News viewers who will always eat that stuff up and regurgitate it at the water cooler (or stopped tractor) so long as it vilifies those damn libruls.

Trump's detractors on the other hand, are largely spot on. Every word out of his mouth is literally apt to be a lie. I like the Ric Flair comparison too. It's a sad state of affairs that this person is in the White House.

If I was a laid-off WVA coal miner I would've voted for him too. He said he'd get my job back, because he was a dealmaker who could make it happen. Same thing if I was a PA steelworker, or OH shirt maker.

Now - I might have suspected that he was lying to get my vote, but the other side was talking about shifting global economies and re-education and other stuff that hurt my head. So I took a flyer on the big guy with the name on his plane.

And if this rusher thing gets in the way of me going back to the mill, then I REALLY am going to be pissed.

That should be...
but the other side was cheering the export of my job overseas in order to make the suits a pile of money and leaving me to starve; was bragging about destroying whole industries that employ people like me, all for global warming BS; that is in charge of the public schools whose graduates can't add, subtract, divide, read or write, but they can't talk for hours about multiculturalism and how racist America is; that was letting tens of millions of Mexicans into America illegally who directly and unfairly compete against me in the job market; that was forcing men who think they are women into my daughter's bathroom; that wants to take away my guns; and that generally considers people like me to be dirty, stupid and inferior to them; and other stuff that pissed me off.
FYP
And if this rusher thing gets in the way of me going back to the mill, then I REALLY am going to be pissed.
Absolutely and totally correct. Especially if this rusher thing boils down to nothing but a meeting between a somebody and a couple of other somebody's in Washington DC. Trump people won't react well to a coups.

The poor blue collar worker needs to get with the fucking program and accept that the world has passed him by. Maybe after Trump fails hm, he'll understand. The situation is going to be much worse by the next election and voting for a guy/party with empty and impossible promises is only going to make their lives more hopeless.

This is what that sounds like:

So far, Trump voters aren't feeling that he has failed them. In fact, they are getting EXACTLY what they voted for.

The Democrats' war on the coal industry has stopped, saving American jobs.
The Democrats' handcuffing of the energy industry has stopped, and Keystone is under construction, creating American jobs.
The giant knot of Democrats' stupid business regulations are being unraveled, saving American jobs.
The Democrats' faith-based environmentalist wacko regulations are being slashed, saving American jobs.
TPP, which was the latest globalist trade deal has stopped, saving American jobs.
BIG factories are being built in the Midwest, where they are desperately needed, creating American jobs by the thousands.
The groundwork for the Wall, despite Democrat obstruction, is being laid, decreasing hardships of US workers.
The Democrats' refusal to enforce US immigration law is being stopped, decreasing hardships of US workers.
Illegal immigrants (except for Dreamers) are being deported in serious numbers, decreasing hardships of US workers.
Cities which refuse to comply with federal immigration law, are about to be punished, decreasing hardships of US workers.
Illegal immigration is down by half since Trump was elected, decreasing hardships of US workers.
The Democrat policy of letting just anybody from terrorist-infested countries walk right in without vetting has stopped.
The Democrats' attempt to create a national tranny bathroom policy has stopped.
The Democrats' long-term goal of confiscating privately owned firearms has been suspended, for now.
The Democrats' war on Christian nuns, bakers and florists has stopped.

To Trump supporters, that IS the program, and Trump is doing it extremely well. NONE of those things would have happened under Hillary. The Trump program compares very favorably to the Democrat "program" of welfare checks, food stamps, and scorn.

Speaking of the TPP, the early returns on that decision are showing up and they aren't so good for a big group of Trump voters. Fuck 'em, I hope they starve.

Fuck 'em, I hope they starve.
You and your ilk felt that way for a long time. They returned the sentiment on November 8, 2016.

You put a lot of effort into that fiction, prof, so I read it for that fact alone. You opened with coal jobs saving America, and ended with warring nuns and bakers, and there was a lot of other funny stuff in between.

Better to laugh, I suppose.

Trump people don't hate girls-only bathrooms, guns, anti-terrorist screening, Christian nuns, bakers and florists like Democrats do, and therefore don't like seeing them targeted for destruction by the federal government.
Is this the same Newsweek that published this, on the morning of November 8, 2016? Talk about fiction:
Here’s the bigger picture of where Trump and Clinton stand with just hours to go before the results start coming in. Clinton has an 84 percent chance of winning the election, while Trump has a 16 percent chance, according to The Upshot. Those odds have not changed over the past several days. The Democratic candidate is forecast to win with 47 percent of the vote compared to 41 percent for Trump, according to the final polling estimates from SurveyMonkey. Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson is predicted to take six percent of the vote, while Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate, is seen getting three percent.

Over at FiveThirtyEight, Clinton fares slightly better, with a 71.2 percent chance of winning to Trump’s 28.7 percent. Clinton is predicted to take 302.3 electoral votes, while Trump is expected to get 234.9 electoral votes.

I would have thought that Democrats, who were badly burned by fake polls, would be a little gun shy about placing their hopes and dreams in them again so soon.

Twice a day since the beginning of the Trump administration, a special folder is prepared for the president. The first document is prepared around 9:30 a.m. and the follow-up around 4:30 p.m. Former Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and former Press Secretary Sean Spicer both wanted the privilege of delivering the 20- to 25-page packet to President Trump personally, White House sources say.
These sensitive papers, described to VICE News by three current and former White House officials, are not top-secret intelligence or updates on legislative initiatives. Instead, the folders are filled with screenshots of positive cable news chyrons (those lower-third headlines and crawls), admiring tweets, transcripts of fawning TV interviews, praise-filled news stories, and sometimes just pictures of Trump on TV looking powerful.

Jesus.
