No doubt this is a possibility. Viruses can live on surfaces other than flesh for many days. Cold viruses have been shown to survive on indoor surfaces for approximately seven days. Flu viruses, however, are active for only 24 hours. All viruses have the potential to live on hard surfaces, such as metal and plastic, longer than on fabrics and other soft surfaces. Goods that are made in China and sent to the US could easily be contaminated. Just about everything you touch in Walmart has the potential to to be affected. Wouldn't be a bad idea to wash if possible items you buy from overseas and even from those made here in the US. Just a thought.

Probably not much, at least in the short term, but I think it's pretty obvious that the market has zero confidence in this clown's ability to understand what's going on, much less take the necessary steps to calm the fears of the general population. I just don't think there was much Trump could do. He tells everyone to be calm, this is under control and then the Dems line up to tell the world they need to be running around with their hair on fire.

My company just canceled 2 $3m events, South by Southwest is cancelled , NCAA tourney, Olympics, air travel, cruises all in jeopardy. The media is reporting the number of cases reported on the hour nonstop.

What is any sitting president going to do to instill calm against that? Triple the amount of test kits that are being sent out to confirm its widespread and been here for weeks?

The only way the markets rebound is when life returns to normal. Panic in the market place isn't going to allow that.

I'm convinced the Democrats wanted this. Nothing is going to change my mind.
