It makes me smile at the thought of Baylor playing in a Houston regional that their fans cant go to.

great twitter video of Fred Hoiberg looking like he is about to pass out on the bench while an assistant lathers himself up in hand sanitizer

The entire Nebraska team is now quarantined at the arena while Hoiberg is checked out at the hospital.

He looked really sick, then again, he just lost to Indiana so that also means he'll probably be fired.

talk about stupid

So it looks like about a third of the population will probably get this, but the vast majority of deaths will be, as usual, the old and the weak, as natural selection demands. The only question is going to be how much more (or less, but for now it certainly appears it's going to be more) deadly is CV than regular flu or other viral maladies, and whether or not it's something seasonal, like the flu. Going to be an interesting couple of months coming up...

At this point its hard to say whether any of this even will matter. The NCAA tournament is basically only a go until a player gets sick.

Just trying to keeps the hoops thread from falling further behind the Fla. State thread, but given that we probably aren't even going to have a tourny this year (thank you jesus) and that probably 100 million americans will contract CV in the next 6 months, I guess that's a losing cause....

if they cancel the tournament that will be surreal

40 years from now kids will be like "wtf happened in 2020, were there dead people like lying in the streets?" and those that are around that remember it will be like "nope, 99% had a cough and runny nose, only 80 year olds were dying"
