interesting idea here - lets say Biden holds his own against Bernie on Super Tuesday. Doesn't have to win, just do noticeably better than Bloomberg

Then he would be the presumptive moderate nominee, not Bloomberg - and Biden would have the leverage to tell Bloomberg that if Bloomberg doesn't drop out, he will keep peeling moderate votes away from Biden, and give the nomination to Bernie

Bloomberg has already said he isn't pulling out regardless what happens on Super Tuesday

and if the above scenario plays out above, then you have to wonder if Republican turned Democrat Bloomberg goes on the independent route in the hopes to pull enough disgruntled Bernie voters, along with Biden voters and disillusioned Trump voters to win the election

Wouldn't surprise me to see Bernie go the Independent route if/when they shun him at the convention. Doesn't have the money Bloomberg has but could take tons of Democrat voters away from the party nominee which would guarantee a Trump victory. As much as he dislikes Trump, I don't see it happening though....

I can see Bloomberg going independent

I don't think Bernie would have the money to survive an independent run with $10 donations

Looks like the market is interpreting that rate cut as a panic move or at least an admission that we're fucked in the near term and the Fed is trying for a softer landing. On the bright side, it's probably a good time to pick up some rental housing with cheap money...
