Homeland
In the rush of everything, two things were very stupid about the (otherwise very good) Season Finale of Homeland.

1. No way the leader of TV Seal Team Six goes in to check for the Nazir hideout without getting his backup beforehand. That was weak sauce.

More ridiculous was...

2. A Memorial Service for the Vice President will have no Secret Service presence? The President would not have attended? Someone can just pack a Chevy Equinox outside the door to blow it to shit? Fuckouttahere.

3. Quinn may well track down Brody and kill him himself...considering he is kind of at fault for everyone dying in the blast.
I did notice the weirdness in the commercial. Glad to know I was not alone. One of my favorite quotes from the Tumblr mentioned in the article...
At first, I was like "Tumblr has to be blowing this out of proportion. This is stupid." But then I came here and.... yeah. Incest all up and down this bitch. Creepy ass commercial - Folgers should be ashamed. Ya'll need Jesus.
http://www.dailydot.com/society/folgers ... al-family/

The article loses steam as it goes on historical coffee and incest tangents, but still...that commercial is creepy.

Im guessing some kind of juvenile detention school
Well that would be U*NC and most U*N fans have no idea where it's actually located and have never had to attend a class Goldie could actually be a U*NC graduate.

According to report, old man Flagler owned damn near the entire east coast of Florida at one time. Now all the money is in the Kenan coffers, which they generously share with UNC. They basically put UF on the map as well, so in that sense, UF is kinda like "little brother" to us...

He developed the railroad down there all the way to Miami and built tons of luxury hotels up and down the coast, 3 in St. Auggie one became Flagler collge. His thread wife was Mary Lily Kenan who gave all his money to her brother and sisters
He also was a partner in Standard Oil

In regards to Homeland, I think Saul has a lot more to do with this then anyone thinks.
Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

I don't know about that. I don't see how he saw this happening.

I still have my questions about
why the President wasn't at the memorial. It makes no sense and is a huge plot hole, to me.
Homeland
Saul - He just happened to oversee the burial at sea. Any lackey could have over saw that. Then what happens, his wife calls and wants to come be with him now. I don't know, he just seems fishy to me.

As far as the President, refresh my memory but has the President really been shown involved at all in the show as far as major story line ?
Homeland
I read him overseeing the burial at sea as a plot device to explain why he wasn't at the memorial.
Exactly @ AA.

On the POTUS, it doesn't matter
if he wasn't in the series. What President wouldn't attend the memorial of his VP? It makes no sense. I guess they had to leave him out because his Secret Service would have stopped the bomb.
