well I wouldn't go that far. The assumption is the animals are treated at least semi well before humanely put down. I know that isn't always the case but they don't have to fight to the death.

I don't think anything has happened to him, what he said is an understatement at best. Animal farming is just plain brutal. Maybe people don't care much about chickens or turkeys, but from everything I've read, pigs are at least as intelligent as dogs. The way they are processed makes those Humane Society commercials (where the sad, shivering, weather-beaten dog is staring at the screen) look like a vacation at the Four Seasons. Nobody wants to think about that while they're scarfing down their sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, but that's the reality...

I used to spar vs a guy into wing chun. It's amazing how fast they drop that sticky hands nonsense and transition to something more traditional.
