I can handle the fatties more than the odors. Most of the fatties are so self conscious that they end up bear hugging themselves the entire flight. And the toenail clipping thing is real. I've seen it in person. Should be punishable by death. Also, the parents who let their kids go apeshit pisses me off. And the people who have to get in the overhead bin 12 times a flight. And speaking of the overhead bin, throw your shit in there and sit the fuck down - seems every flight we have to wait to take off because someone is trying to shove an oversized suitcase in.

I may have mentioned this before, but you know how you have to take out your laptop when going thru security? I'm guilty of this too, but in the rush of gathering all your shit back up you just throw your laptop back in the bag.

I saw a dude put a laptop bag in an overhead bin and the laptop fell out and conked some old man right on the noggin. The corner of the laptop hit too so I know it had to hurt. That old man let out a yell followed by a string of obscenities that would make a sailor blush.

I started laughing like muttly and had tears in my eyes. Jesus that was funny. It was like a 90 minute flight and every time I looked up and saw that bald head of his, I cracked up again. I know the lady next to me thought I was insane.

The people trying to fit their luggage into an overhead bin when they are zone 4 or whatever drives me crazy too. Yes, everyone paid $25 to check a bag you cheap bastard.

Why would anybody want their laptop in the overhead bin for all the assholes with oversized bags to ram that shit in there against it. Put that shit under the seat

Get a known traveler number and use TSA Pre. No more taking off shoes, belt, jackets. No more laptops coming out of the bag. And, at least now, the lines are much shorter.

because those assholes should have checked the bag!

I hate having a bag under the seat in front of me. There isn't any foot room to begin with.

How big is your laptop bag?

I usually check my main bag, and carry on something that will fit under the seat. Fuck those overhead bins.

" I hate that my firm won't pay for business class on flights less than 5 hours."

I doubt your friend with the $6 million apartment shares in these woes...

If you carry a suitcase on that is too big for the bin, the flight attendants should be allowed to open it up and pour two containers of clamato juice in it.

If you get up more than once to get in a bin during a flight, you should be forced to drink a cup of blue water from the lavatory.

The last few flights I've taken, I've been able to move to an empty row and lay down across 3 seats. It's really not that comfortable if you're awake (I guess if you had a big pillow it would be alright), but if you want to sleep it's OK...

the only time I can find a flight that isn't completely full is if I fly around lunch time and its a commuter jet/prop

I don't think I'll have to fly at all this winter.

I avoid Atlanta like a nurse in quarantine in the summer and flying altogether during snow months if it can be accomplished.

ATL isn't my Kryptonite.

Now, LGA and EWR (Ebola!)? I've rebooked flights to avoid layovers/stopovers there.

I've spent 2 nights in Atlanta, and another night in a hotel the airline paid for

I'm done with Atlanta

That's the airline, not the airport.

The only place I've had to spend the night because of a cancellation was STL. All the other times I was able to find another flight.

no it was the weather

which is why I won't fly there in the summer.

LGA is the worst. We all should be ashamed, as Americans, that that shit hole exists. EWR isn't as bad, but I don't fly out of there often (I have landed there a few times).
