At 10:00 it was down 1200 from where it closed yesterday. From where it closed last Friday to the low tick today, it was down 4320 points. Wild week. Scary thing is, this week could've actually been the calm before the storm...

Yeah, and Trump blamed the market decline on the democratic debates... which took place on Tuesday night. You can pretend to assume (very incorrectly, I believe) that dems are loving this and are happy about some new plague, but the fact is Trump is going to blame it all on the dems. Already has. So spare me any indignation over who is supposedly loving what. But if you want to speculate, maybe you should consider that the depth of this week's decline is the market's vote of no confidence in the Dear Leader's ability or even inclination to get a handle on this outbreak, which actually should scare you. Of course I'm sure Trump would love for all of this to just go away, mainly b/c it's fucking with the market (again, the only thing he really cares about on a national level), but I doubt most people have much confidence that he's capable of getting much done in that regard. Hopefully this thing will straighten itself out, but I don't believe that Trump will have much to do with it...

I don't think he really gives a rat's ass about minorities or poor people (except for his supporters, but only insofar as they are his supporters) but I don't think that's he's positively hostile to them. But I know that in his simpleton mind he equates the stock market with the actual state of the entire economy and he's certainly been crowing and taking credit for its rise during his term and I'm certain he's freaked out about it falling...

Let's all hope and pray so.... Rat, Hedge and all the moronic dems will be in panic mode if this is true. Stock market will begin to rise.... hopefully be back to record numbers by election time. Rat will be on suicide watch.

His over the top reactions and pleading calm are all badly timed. Blaming the dems for the cornholio hoax and that we are fine is just another example of just how out of touch he is. Blaming the stock market on the dems primary a day after the actual primary and 2 days after the fall started is just another. He's quick to take credit when the market is doing well but quick to blame when it's not. He's very unstable.
