Apparently Meccacards was deemed too drunk to enter the Music City Bowl and was arrested - not just him...according to the thread at Catspause, his entire family including underage daughter. They went to a holding tank for 8 hours and were released. The info has been removed I'm sure because Mecca or someone connected to him had it cleansed.

Ol Roy is taking some heat for throwing his team under the bus.

We're playing two guys that were playing at William and Mary and Charleston Southern last year, a guy who hasn't played organized basketball since his sophomore year in high school, a guy who just got moved up from the jayvee last week and a couple of walk-ons. I'd say saying that they're not the most gifted players to ever put on a Carolina uniform is an understatement...

Irregardless of whose fault it was, it was still an accurate statement. I'll admit Roy sometimes blurts out shit that he probably shouldn't, and this was one of those times, but I don't think he was throwing his team under the bus. Probably shouldn't have said it, though...

He shouldn't have said it, but he is who he is. Furthermore, this team (without Anthony) is almost as bad as the 2001-2002 team, and it will take a mighty effort for this crowd to make it to the NIT at this point.

Roy certainly missed on some recruits (missing out on those wings last year was a major issue), and it shows just how amazing Coach Smith's run was.
