Relax. The prevailing opinion is that no sitting prez can be prosecuted, certainly not by the DOJ and federal judges that serve at the pleasure of the big guy.

Your lame ignorance-scenario won't work as a defense in an impeachment proceeding, of course - especially with Trump's admissions that he fired Comey to relieve the pressure of the Director's investigation. But even if the obstruction case may already be in the can, there's still work to do collusion-and-emoluments-wise. Mueller will get there eventually, and Congress will do their thing. Patience is required.

Trump, Pence, and Priebus are all on record as late as January saying there were no contacts between the campaign and our Russian adversaries - zilch, nada. To date there have been more than two dozen such contacts discovered - meetings, phone calls, emails, texts - that reveal what huge whoppers those denials were.

Is it far-fetched to think that Trump could be impeached just on that lie alone (considering the countless other lies he's racked up). Not when you consider Bill Clinton got impeached by the House basically over a lie about a blowjob.
