I'm not even talking about the impeachment, I'm talking about the majority of the senate theoretically being determined by 18% of the population, and I'm not sure that's what was "intended". But really, the main thing that bugs me is North and South Dakota. Why the fuck does there get to be a North AND South Dakota? Both of them combined have less population than any of the top 40 metro areas in the US. Metro areas! Yet they get to have 2 states instead of just "Dakota." Who the fuck came up with that?? I mean, I realize the whole concept of what a state is is somewhat arbitrary to begin with, but if "Dakota" can just decide "hey, let's split ourselves into 2 states and then we'll have twice the representation," then why can't, say, California split up into 4 states? If they divided themselves into 4 states of roughly equal population, they would all have populations larger than any of the 40 currently least populated states. Hell, you could divide California up into 52 separate states of equal population and they would ALL have more population than North Dakota. Yet somehow "the Dakotas" have twice the representation in the senate than California...
California probably could split up into 4 if they wanted. But I doubt they do that.

"Stick to house parties, rallies, town halls - no one votes for you b/c you interrupted a meal."
Esp. BRM and Van Nostrum. She might lose more than a vote if she interrupted their meal, she's liable to lose a hand...

Anybody who still thinks the press is impartial just need to look who’s covering today’s Bloomberg story. Of course NYPost and Fox covers this, and Bernie supporters like Slate, but no CNN, MSNBC, or the three networks. They want to screw Bernie out of the nomination.
he knew that was coming and has been prepping the media for it for months
I didn't realize it was that bad though
but the real question is - is he telling the truth?

If the nominees are Trump and Bloomberg, then the majority of the country is going to be voting for the wrong wings of the political spectrum.

what are the "right" wings?

Trump is more left wing than Bloomberg is, so the left wing in #TeamBlue will be voting for the further right wing candidate, while #TeamRed votes for more leftist candidate.
Trump is a former Democrat running as Republican. While Bloomberg is actually the opposite.
The only possible rationality for nominating Bloomberg is if you took a look at 2016 and decided "We need a richer, older, more fascist New York billionaire to outdo Trump!"

It doesn't matter. It's already been decided. Your vote doesn't count.

Dear Democrats:
1. Don't listen to Chris Matthews:
Matthews doesn't know what he's talking about. Americans are yearning for socialism.
Carville doesn't know what he's talking about. The Democrat party's obsession with things that have nothing to do with the lives of average voters (impeachment, gender pronouns, climate change) is just what they need to beat Trump.
3. Don't listen to Van Jones:
Van Jones doesn't know what he's talking about. 93+% of Black people will always vote Democrat, no matter what. They will never vote for the Orange Grand Wizard.
Trump and his Roy Cohn AG are attempting to rule with impunity, now that they have steamrolled Congress. Federal judges are our last line of defense against the would-be king.

"The government said in the amended filing that while it was "technically" possible to argue that Stone deserved the severe federal sentencing enhancement for threatening physical harm to a witness, such a move would violate the spirit of the federal guidelines.
It would place Stone in a category of the guidelines that "typically applies in cases involving violent offenses, such as armed robbery, not obstruction cases," the government argued"
They conveniently left out non-violent drug cases, for which the guidelines can be far more than what the prosecutors initially recommended for Roger, and for which I doubt the "top brass" at DOJ has ever suggested violated the "spirit" of the federal guidelines, under any circumstances...

Crows feasting on corpses in Wuhan? This is some World War Z shit
There is no strong evidence to support the theory that crows have been looking for dead bodies. The fears have arisen partly because the crow is seen as a symbol of death in Chinese culture.
The black birds can be seen swarming Wusi Road in the Chengxi District of Wuhan before resting on the road and pecking at the road beneath them.
In a separate clip, a massive swarm of the dark creatures have been snapped in Xining City, prompting Chinese social media users to speculate as to why they are in the province.
Some believe the crows are "looking for dead bodies" to eat while others have said the birds may be "feeding on particulates" from the "clouds of human remain ash falling to the ground."
Trump and his Roy Cohn AG are attempting to rule with impunity, now that they have steamrolled Congress. Federal judges are our last line of defense against the would-be king.
so much optimism in Trump going down to Mueller and impeachment....
at least you haven't talked about moving to Canada

Apparently, you're not safe from capitalist propaganda even in Canada
Also, reading that led me down a rabbit hole, where I learned (even from theoretically more mainstream sources) that not only are there people who think Paw Patrol is "divisive" and "polarizing" but also that it and Thomas the Tank Engine are "fascist"
Trump is going to pardon Stone (and everybody else) irregardless. If he doesn't win the election, he'll do it before he leaves office. If he does win, he'll do it sooner than that...
Just like I didn't (and still don't) think Trump ever wanted to be president and was just running for the free publicity he'd get, I wouldn't be surprised if he's thinking "fuck this shit, I'm the most famous man in the world now, far more famous than I even used to be, fuck all this question and answer bullshit, let me get back into private life and parlay this shit into billions." Now, I know he's an attention whore and I know he's probably worried about potential prosecutions that (evidently) cannot be brought against him while he's in office, but you know he has to be thinking about how much he can caaiiiish in on his massive fame right now. I mean, that's basically all he's ever done, and now he's increased that calling card by orders of magnitude. You thought Clinton and Obama parlayed their presidential fame into riches, you ain't seen nothing compared to what Trump's gonna do...

"King’s University College professor Liam Kennedy has published an entire treatise on the subject of “Paw Patrol,” entitled “Whenever there’s trouble. Just yelp for help’: Crime, Conservation, and Corporatization in Paw Patrol.”"
I'm sure the tens (if that) of people who read this "treatise" were highly influenced by it...
