A New England Patriot has a soul?

About $50 million. That's good value for a soul...

Can't do that - Vegas has already paid out. Ban Brady and the two lockerroom guys, fine the Patriots two 1st round picks. Brady's retiring, anyway, but the ban will keep him out of the Hall of Fame for a while.

He doesn't need Brady to tell him directly to do it, he's probably been doing it for years. That guy might get thrown under the bus out of necessity, but I bet the Patriots (or at least Brady) would look after him in that case...

1. Suspend Bellicheat for the season. Sean Payton would probably agree with this since HE didn't "know" what was going on with his team either.

2. Suspend Brady for 6 games and 2 million dollar fine.

3. Fine the organization 5 million dollars, take away there first and second round picks for 2016 and 2017 and award them to Indy and Baltimore with Indy getting 1st round in 2016 and 2nd in 2017 and vice versa for Baltimore.

They have blatantly cheated over the past decade. They have been caught time after time. Time to drop the hammer on them.

I don't think the ball thing is a big deal. I'm not a Pats fan, but this doesn't concern me at all.

This is a pitcher scuffing a ball in baseball. Catch him during the game? Toss him. After the fact? Meh.

Pitchers caught scuffing balls also get suspended.

It's simple. If the NFL believes Brady is guilty then suspend him for 2 games. But not the 1st 2. That wouldn't be fair to the other teams in the division of the teams they are playing. Suspend him for the Colts game and a Jets home game.

Pitchers usually get warned first. But the suspension is 10 games which is roughly equivalent to one NFL game.

They DID catch him during the game. He should've been suspended for the Superbowl.

I don't think you can say they caught "him" at the Super Bowl unless he admitted it or they saw him with a needle by the bags of balls. At that point the Colts LB said something, the refs could be thinking it could be a defect, or if on purpose, it could be a WR, because many people (Aaron Rogers, for example) have offered that properly or even OVER inflated balls are easier to throw (but it is likely that UNDER inflated balls are easier to catch).

That said, I would've been fine with ejecting him at the point they discovered the balls were deflated. The refs didn't, though. No way to get that toothpaste back in the tube. its just like the plate ump discovering a scuffed or wet ball in baseball and not tossing anyone (which happens regularly). I guess the ump can call the League office and have someone tossed from a future game for a spitter, but I'm unaware of that happening.

I thought they changed the suspension a number of years back to 10 (2 starts)? Google is failing me, but I remember reading something about it in Baseball Digest.

The NFL should vacate wins from the Dick McPherson era and suspend Brady for the first quarter of the Jaguars game.

Like Bama, the Pats are too big to fail.
