We may have created a monster.
The #1 Safety recruit in Texas decommitted from Tennessee today. Expected to commit to A&M shortly.

Doesn't matter.

Klein's team is undefeated. And that is pretty much it. Heisman goes to the MVP of the best team in college football, and well, that is all you need to know.

Barner is the MVP of the best team in college football.

Quite possibly, but it all depends on which team wins that Mythical National Championship. I'm still saying Oregon. Been saying that the last two months.

Heisman ceremony is well before the MNC (or any other 'real' bowl game). You should remember that from back when BC was somewhat relevant.

The ceremony itself is after the championship games in early December. So the people voting are going to know who is playing in the MNC and who the best players are on those two MNC teams. So....

...whatever.

Sure its possible that the Heisman isn't on those teams. I think the guy from Baylor got it last year. But it is usually just the best guy on the best team in the country. Not rocket science.

Okay, that will be AFTER K-State's and Notre Dame's last game. Oregon will have their rematch against USC or possibly a game against UCLA on November 30th, right?

By Dec 3rd, everyone will know everything they need to know about who is playing where and how important that game is. It will be obvious who the best one or two players are in college football. And it wont be anyone from A&M.

So Teo for Heisman huh? Bolstered that status with like 4 tackles today.
