Did this deal. Got it Monday. Listed the humi on eBay. Sold it for $22. So, the 10 cigars ended up costing me less than 10 bucks. No brainer.

perfect afternoon

after the kstate game 2glasses of glenlivet with a alecbaldwin 6x50 family blend smooth rich cigar on a 75 degree day.

didn't get much better then saturday. didn't get much worse then sunday. warm coors lite brought over by the kids --a stale LaFleur of indeterminate age and a colts neworleans superbowl rematch that lets just say failed to live up to .......well any professional definition of football ..from a brainless armless pack of pretenders labeling themselves as "colts" It was like watching a car wreck. couldnt take my eyes off of it until that 62nd point was on the board

Heh. That's what I thought you you meant, Bradley. But since Alec Baldwin smokes cigars, you never know.

Cliff expounds his "Buffalo Theory" to Norm:

“Well, you see, Norm, it’s like this. A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it’s the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.

In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine.

And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.”

OK I bought Pappy VanWinkle's 23 year old burbon as a gift for a friend. We tried it. Words can not describe how good it is. It's just too danged expensive but man oh man is it good.

A little over 200 bucks, and I was on a waiting list for almost a year. They called me as soon as the shipment came it. I had planned on this gift for a very long time and knew it would be tough to get but didn't realize just how tough. Good thing I planned ahead and knew a store owner LOL.

No, not even ice.

IMO it's the best burbon I have ever tasted.

I came late to drinking scotch (maybe 5 years ago), but I quickly found I preferred any number of scotch's (both blended and single malt) to any bourbon I've ever had. And I've had alot...
